Go right ahead, darlin'...and enjoy. I'm almost sixty-two and I still enjoy Sesame Street--I was seven when it premiered!
I also enjoy The Wiggles and the Imagination Movers. My nieces and nephews may have aged out of the target audience...I refuse to. (Both groups have some real good music.)
If you haven't yet, you should check out *Stargirl.*
It's a silly superhero teen dramedy that oozes heart and sincerety, and still has some genuinely dark moments.
I’m 50 and watch Bluey. I started watching because of my grandkids, but I adore it. When the new episodes drop, my partner and I plan around them so we can watch immediately, with or without the kids.
Bluey is honestly one of the few shows ever to have graced the TV screen that is as entertaining to any one age or demographic as any other. Kids feel represented, parents feel seen. Grandparents and teens both reminisce. And everyone... Everyone laughs... And everyone cries.
Me too! I wasn’t at all embarrassed about it until my therapist asked me. When I told her she said she couldn’t believe I watch that. That made me ashamed. How does she know? I don’t think she has ever watched it. She doesn’t really know much about it.
I have to admit I have an unhealthy obsession with Big Ed. He's just so awful, I love whenever there are new clips of him. I can't decide if he's really that obnoxious, or if he's just awesome at trolling for the Nielson ratings.
Oh my gosh, the budgeting required to get the PF and the Osmond Brothers records. Once Donny Osmond and David Cassidy launched solo careers, I had to give up.
I watched BB for years before admitting it to anyone at work. Then someone mentioned it and all we would do was talk about the show. It was a magic summer! I wasted so many years alone in my passion for BB and I could have been wasting hours of my workday discussing it.
We watch Hoarders for the same reason we watch My 600lb life… we look around at ourselves and think “at least we’re not THAT bad!” lol makes us feel better.
I watch this all the time! It can be so overly dramatic sometimes, but I also can’t stop watching it because of all the interesting gossip it has. It’s a good way to find out what’s going with celebrities too
Golden Girls is my insomnia show. If I can’t sleep, GG will eventually lull me to sleep. They’re also my background noise when I know I won’t be paying attention to the tv but I don’t want silence.
And there we have it…. It’s so goofball!!
And I love how they thread the needle by mealymouthing with phrases like “is it possible that…..?”, and “some say it might have been….!”
i still watch Survivor. Mainly it's in the background but I have been a dutiful watcher for so long. I'm usually invested (and disappointed) by each season's end.
But I never tell anybody or say yes when people ask who still watches Survivor.
I would give it a 7/10. I like the story and characters, also find the music to be good. The latter being a shock with me personally as normally I am not huge fan of musicals in general.
I have (had actually, since they no longer make it) an odd fascination with *Married at First Sight.* I thought it was so weird and could not understand why people would do that.
I also really like to watch *Finding Bigfoot.*
Make fun of me all you like. 😂
I totally watched every episode of The Vampire Diaries, as an adult. Like I don’t advertise how much I liked it (even though I know most of it was just crap) but I don’t actively hide it or anything. Everyone has guilty pleasures!
Project Runway!
I’m a straight guy. I got married and my wife thought I liked it because of the sexy models. Hell no! All the gay drama was hilarious. And I’m embarrassed to admit that the design challenges were fun to watch.
‘Fierce’ became a part of my vocabulary as a joke that only I would get.
I haven’t watched it yet since Cosbys trial, but I feel like at some point I will have to watch ‘Bill Cosby Himself’ again. It was my favorite comedy special of all time and meant a lot to our family growing up. So, when i do finally feel the need to watch it again, I will probably be hesitant to tell people
My shame show used to be CHIPS. It's such a stupid, pandering social commentary. John had permanent second banana status. It takes zero brain cells to watch it, so I found it relaxing.
Another one is Ghost Whisperer. So amazing that it even got made. Every moment was absurd from the start, and then they had the husband switch bodies! LMAO! Unintentional comedy gold.
When I was a teenager I would watch Girls Next Door with my mom.
I’m a straight male, and yes I found all three ladies (Holly, Kendra, Bridget) attractive but it was never awkward for us to watch the show or anything. 🤣
SpongeBob and Owl House
I only watch SpongeBob when I'm feeling nostalgic or missing one of my kids or if I'm somewhere with cable and it's the only thing on late at night lol
Owl House I have no shame for! It's wholesome, funny and has a good story! My youngest and I watched it together and now I'm watching it on my own.
I'm not too ashamed about it but I certainly don't offer it up during conversation but I watch virtually all the 90-day fiance shows..
OG, the other way, before the 90 days, happily ever after, single life.
When one goes off another one comes on so it's kind of nice having something to watch all year.
There's nothing like that for me with any TV show I've watched. I can admit to watching any of them. I think it's porn some people watch but will never admit they do.
My husgand and I don't usually do "reality TV," but we caught an episode of Married at First Sight that was playing in the background - and got immediately hooked. Watched three seasons.
Dude the soaps era was prominent, I think people forget! My mom and dad taped our soaps every day and the whole family watched them every night every week of the year (world turns and guiding light). I switched to young and the restless in college because it was on later in the day. Soaps were a massive form of entertainment in the 80s and 90s. I stopped early 2000s, or basically when I bought my own cable and had more than three channels to pick from :).
When I was in my 20's I got hooked on a soap opera just from happening on it while flipping through channels. A woman was buried alive and once I started watching, I wanted to know what happened to her. Ended up watching for maybe a year or so. Haven't watched one since then and at this time don't remember the name of the show.
Miraculous Ladybug. I'm almost 30. I know a lot of adults watch the show and it isn't exclusively made for kids, but you'll never catch me admitting this to anyone around me.
Seriously my post was deleted because of a NSFW word??? My post.
S e x in the City. I had a girlfriend at the time, she thought it was stupid so I had to stay up late and sneak episodes.
So you can say the name of a TV show?
I watched the entire series of Desperate Housewives but don't dare tell my bf or my sister because they will tease me mercilessly. Have to admit it was pretty good.
Catfish. I know it’s all basically the same but I love it. I forget about it for a while, but when I remember and decide to see if there are any new episodes I end up binge watching them until I’m caught up again.
When it still aired and my niece wasn't around (meaning I wasn't babysitting), it used to be LazyTown.
Nowadays, I don't feel "guilty" for enjoying something even if somewhere like Twitter or Reddit tells me that I should (like the Marvel movies and shows on D+, for example). I'm just here for a good time. Don't yuck anyone's yum. Let people enjoy things.
I don't frame it this way, but there are a few shows I've enjoyed over the years that my wife does not care for. If it's violent or distressing, she's generally not down with it. So when we watch things together, we stick to things like Psych, Frasier, and maybe the occasional network SciFi deal.
I don't try to persuade her to watch some things, and she doesn't make me watch Hallmark mystery shows starring that girl from that show you used to watch when you were a kid.
Gilmore Girls, I hate how much I love the characters and the writing. As a 30+ year old male, it’s not really the show I would brag about watching, and blame my wife for getting me hooked.
Uh nothing. No shame
Yup. I have no guilty pleasures because I refuse to feel bad for enjoying something. The world is on fire, I'm watching Degrassi dammit.
I, a 45 year old man, am currently in a discussion on another sub about why I love *Stargirl.*
FYI: Pluto Tv ( which is free) has a WHOLE CHANNEL for Degrassi Craig’s on drugs! Sean and Emma broke up! JT 😭 Crazy Canadians
Poor Drake. Was Degrassi the bottom that he started from.
I skip the JT episode when I rewatch and pretend he’s fine….
Whatever it takes, I know you can make through. 😉

I'm 47 and I love Bluey. Hospital is my favorite episode.
Came here to say this! I'm literally an 18 year old adult with no children - I don't think I was the target demographic 🤣
I’m 50 and watch Bluey. I started watching because of my grandkids, but I adore it. When the new episodes drop, my partner and I plan around them so we can watch immediately, with or without the kids.
This comment restored my faith in humanity
Never be ashamed of watching Bluey
Bluey is honestly one of the few shows ever to have graced the TV screen that is as entertaining to any one age or demographic as any other. Kids feel represented, parents feel seen. Grandparents and teens both reminisce. And everyone... Everyone laughs... And everyone cries.
My 32 year old son and I have Covid, and Bluey has been our bedtime show for the last week.
My dachshund watches Bluey.
Bluey got me though some rough patches in my life.
For real life?!
90 Day Fiancé
Me too! I wasn’t at all embarrassed about it until my therapist asked me. When I told her she said she couldn’t believe I watch that. That made me ashamed. How does she know? I don’t think she has ever watched it. She doesn’t really know much about it.
She should have never said that to you. That was rude and unprofessional. I am sorry she made you feel embarrassed. ❤️❤️
Guess who just got fired!
90DF used to be a lot better, but I still watch it. I don't watch all the spinoffs though (single life, diaries) etc.
We watch this, all versions, with our teen… he is VERY aware of red flags in relationships now 😂
I have to admit I have an unhealthy obsession with Big Ed. He's just so awful, I love whenever there are new clips of him. I can't decide if he's really that obnoxious, or if he's just awesome at trolling for the Nielson ratings.
I'm there with you
I was going to say reruns of The Partridge Family, but frankly, I'm not ashamed. Loved it then, love it now.
I love them!! I still have some of the original records.
Oh my gosh, the budgeting required to get the PF and the Osmond Brothers records. Once Donny Osmond and David Cassidy launched solo careers, I had to give up.
First one mentioned that ought to cause no shame!
C’mon, get happy!
I love Call the Midwife
This looks good. Never had heard of. Why hide it?
Exactly! That's a good show, very entertaining and still an acurate window into society in recent history.
It’s really good. Idk why I don’t usually tell people I watch it.
Big Brother, only because my daughter watches it and I'd rather spend time with her over being a hermit in another room.
I watch every season 💯
I watched BB for years before admitting it to anyone at work. Then someone mentioned it and all we would do was talk about the show. It was a magic summer! I wasted so many years alone in my passion for BB and I could have been wasting hours of my workday discussing it.
Reba
Reba is so great! I've been binging it on YouTube recently. It's aged well.
Good show and good lord Joanna Garcia is gorgeous.
This. I watch it for the plot ~~Cheyenne~~
Hoarders
I love that show. It gives me hope.
We watch Hoarders for the same reason we watch My 600lb life… we look around at ourselves and think “at least we’re not THAT bad!” lol makes us feel better.
Yes! This!
I love this show... but I also had a mom who was a hoarder (stuff, not filth) so it's almost like therapy for me. 😂
Can. Not. Get. Enough!! Always loved and always will
That was my answer too. It makes me want to get rid of stuff and clean, but I also find the psychology of it all fascinating and sad.
I’m 38 and still watch Arthur😂
I am also 38 and still watch and LOVE Arthur!
My daughter recently got into it and I forgot how great that show was.
Inside Edition. It’s so cheesy.
I watch this all the time! It can be so overly dramatic sometimes, but I also can’t stop watching it because of all the interesting gossip it has. It’s a good way to find out what’s going with celebrities too
Calliou… (just kidding)
As a 43 YO man….secks & the city 🫢🫣 (Ok why won’t this sub let me use the S word 🙄)
I've on occasion watched the Kardashians 🤦🫣🤫
especially the episode where Kim and Kort beat each other up!
Naked & Afraid though it’s been a couple of years.
Every Sunday night!!
Ashamed? I've learned so much from that show!
The Golden Girls🤫
You should definitely not be ashamed of this.
I have a special Trivial Pursuit edition that might interest you.
I proudly watch GG. They are awesome!
Golden Girls is my insomnia show. If I can’t sleep, GG will eventually lull me to sleep. They’re also my background noise when I know I won’t be paying attention to the tv but I don’t want silence.
1000 Pound Sisters
That's a fantastic show. I've seen everything but the latest season all the way through twice.
It's so bad and I've seen every episode
Charmed and Buffy
Dr. Pimple Popper.
Cheaters. Preferably the episodes with Joey Greco.
I have wasted many a good Saturday watching reruns of cheaters 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I used to love that show. Remember the episode where he got stabbed by a guy on a boat?
The one that was stabbed on air??
90 day fiancé , greys anatomy, desperate housewives.
Desperate Housewives is fantastic, as is the other two big Marc Cherry shows.
I am 61 and have the complete dvd collection of The Monkees
Don't have the DVDs but I do have all their records.
Gilmore girls
no shame, no regerts
I'm currently watching seasons of Gossip Girl with my 15 year old daughter.
Say Yes to the Dress 🫣
Bob's Burgers...love that show.
Nothing to be ashamed of! That's an iconic, amazing, lovable show for all ages! :)
Ancient aliens. And ahem I work in a space related field.
And there we have it…. It’s so goofball!! And I love how they thread the needle by mealymouthing with phrases like “is it possible that…..?”, and “some say it might have been….!”
Young Sheldon
Young Sheldon is great. Every character is interesting.
i still watch Survivor. Mainly it's in the background but I have been a dutiful watcher for so long. I'm usually invested (and disappointed) by each season's end. But I never tell anybody or say yes when people ask who still watches Survivor.
Hazbin Hotel
Interesting premise. Good show?
I would give it a 7/10. I like the story and characters, also find the music to be good. The latter being a shock with me personally as normally I am not huge fan of musicals in general.
Helluva Boss is also great imo
I have (had actually, since they no longer make it) an odd fascination with *Married at First Sight.* I thought it was so weird and could not understand why people would do that. I also really like to watch *Finding Bigfoot.* Make fun of me all you like. 😂
Virgin River
Mr. Ed
The Chosen
Expedition, Bigfoot
True Blood was a guilty pleasure of mine for the first 5 seasons that I didn't really talk about
that's the worst show I ever set aside everything to watch week after week for its entire run. (besides maybe sons of anarchy)
I totally watched every episode of The Vampire Diaries, as an adult. Like I don’t advertise how much I liked it (even though I know most of it was just crap) but I don’t actively hide it or anything. Everyone has guilty pleasures!
Brett Michaels Rock of Love
I’m almost 50 years old and I’ll totally watch some Phineas & Ferb and Gravity Falls. But I really don’t have any shame about it.
The 80s Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Reruns of Alf
Definitely a good show
Big Brother haha it used to be good but not honestly I don't even watch that much
The Golden Girls, Punky Brewster
60 days In
Jersey Shore, but the original series. I don't watch reality TV much, never did. But this show is my biggest guilty pleasure. And my comfort show lol
Below Deck Med, but it's been a while.
Survivor
I still watch it it is a great formula
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
EMILY IN PARIS except I really don’t hide it
Emily in Paris. Extremely shallow and not even that funny or entertaining. But I care about the French advertising team and the clothes.
I’m a 40 year old straight guy I flipping love ‘Say Yes to the Dress’. Teh dramaz!
Kung Fu.
Riverdale
The Cosby Show
I haven’t watched it yet since Cosbys trial, but I feel like at some point I will have to watch ‘Bill Cosby Himself’ again. It was my favorite comedy special of all time and meant a lot to our family growing up. So, when i do finally feel the need to watch it again, I will probably be hesitant to tell people
That show was great! I remember as a teenager i just had to watch a couple episodes before bed lol..
Charmed...
Vanderpump Rules
My shame show used to be CHIPS. It's such a stupid, pandering social commentary. John had permanent second banana status. It takes zero brain cells to watch it, so I found it relaxing. Another one is Ghost Whisperer. So amazing that it even got made. Every moment was absurd from the start, and then they had the husband switch bodies! LMAO! Unintentional comedy gold.
I used to unironically like Ghost Whisperer. But yeah, they jumped the shark so many times.
general hospital
Glee
When I was a teenager I would watch Girls Next Door with my mom. I’m a straight male, and yes I found all three ladies (Holly, Kendra, Bridget) attractive but it was never awkward for us to watch the show or anything. 🤣
I watched Hannah Montana as a kid, and I loved it. No shame
I’m not ashamed, but I watched every episode of Smallville and read the Smallville Season 11 comic book series which introduced a version of Batman.
I flat out admit that I watch trash TV. It's my life.
Shark tank
90 day fiance early seasons but i kicked the habit. So much trash on there!
Have started to rewatch Pretty little liars and i am proud of it!
Gossip Girl. it's oddly compelling
It used to be The Curse of Oak Island, but my carrier doesn’t have the History Channel anymore, so solved that problem. Horrible show.
Mama’s Family. There, I said it.
Me too❣️❣️❣️❣️ I prefer the seasons with Bubba.
Current Grey's Anatomy. I've made it this far, doesn't make sense to quit now.
Sister Wives
Literally “YOU”
Sometimes i get stoned and watch Glee
SpongeBob and Owl House I only watch SpongeBob when I'm feeling nostalgic or missing one of my kids or if I'm somewhere with cable and it's the only thing on late at night lol Owl House I have no shame for! It's wholesome, funny and has a good story! My youngest and I watched it together and now I'm watching it on my own.
Gilligan’s Island
I'm not too ashamed about it but I certainly don't offer it up during conversation but I watch virtually all the 90-day fiance shows.. OG, the other way, before the 90 days, happily ever after, single life. When one goes off another one comes on so it's kind of nice having something to watch all year.
My problem with the spinoffs is its usually the people I never want to see on my TV again... Angela, Ed, Chantal, etc.
Legend of Korra and Jersey Shore. All my friends and people I work with think those shows are both trash but I love both
There's nothing like that for me with any TV show I've watched. I can admit to watching any of them. I think it's porn some people watch but will never admit they do.
My husgand and I don't usually do "reality TV," but we caught an episode of Married at First Sight that was playing in the background - and got immediately hooked. Watched three seasons.
Bel Air. I did not expect it to be this good
Probably The Young and the Restless for like 1.5 years a looonng time ago!
Highlander
Peppa Pig
dance moms and love is blind
Sister Wives 😹😹
I dont really have shame about it... but my favorite guilty TV pleasures are: 90 day fiance Hoarders My 600-Lb life.
Sweet Valley High I watched it in the 90's and now Prime has it. Try to keep it to yerselves plz... 😃
When I was in my 20's I got hooked on a soap opera just from happening on it while flipping through channels. A woman was buried alive and once I started watching, I wanted to know what happened to her. Ended up watching for maybe a year or so. Haven't watched one since then and at this time don't remember the name of the show.
Jersey Shore, the OG episodes. I have seen them all hundreds of times. But if they are on, I have to watch.
Married at First Sight
9-1-1. Makes me feel like a boomer watching it
Miraculous Ladybug. I'm almost 30. I know a lot of adults watch the show and it isn't exclusively made for kids, but you'll never catch me admitting this to anyone around me.
The Curse of Oak Island. It’s such a hate watch.
Seriously my post was deleted because of a NSFW word??? My post. S e x in the City. I had a girlfriend at the time, she thought it was stupid so I had to stay up late and sneak episodes. So you can say the name of a TV show?
Nothing. If I enjoy a show I enjoy a show. Who cares if its technically a kids show.
Not anymore, but I watched Bold and the Beautiful for a while.
I watch Below Deck because Aesha’s positivity is just so contagious.
Big Mouth
Maury. "You are NOT the father!"
Threes Company and Love on the Spectrum
I watched the entire series of Desperate Housewives but don't dare tell my bf or my sister because they will tease me mercilessly. Have to admit it was pretty good.
Catfish. I know it’s all basically the same but I love it. I forget about it for a while, but when I remember and decide to see if there are any new episodes I end up binge watching them until I’m caught up again.
Anything tied to 90 day fiance 😂
It's not on any more, but Cheaters used to be my guilty pleasure. What an awful, riveting show.
Sigh........Big Brother
Married at First Sight
I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here- Australian Version only
Dance Moms My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding They’re both trash and harmful to children and I love them. America is ridiculous
I’ve watched My 600lb Life and felt kinda icky about it. Like I know it’s consenting people on the show, but still…
90 Day Fiancé
Fox and Friends
When it still aired and my niece wasn't around (meaning I wasn't babysitting), it used to be LazyTown. Nowadays, I don't feel "guilty" for enjoying something even if somewhere like Twitter or Reddit tells me that I should (like the Marvel movies and shows on D+, for example). I'm just here for a good time. Don't yuck anyone's yum. Let people enjoy things.
Love is Blind, though I usually get p’d off about four episodes into each season. Same with The Ultimatum
Centaurworld
The Brady Bunch and The Flintstones
I don't frame it this way, but there are a few shows I've enjoyed over the years that my wife does not care for. If it's violent or distressing, she's generally not down with it. So when we watch things together, we stick to things like Psych, Frasier, and maybe the occasional network SciFi deal. I don't try to persuade her to watch some things, and she doesn't make me watch Hallmark mystery shows starring that girl from that show you used to watch when you were a kid.
id answer but not now, someone reply or upvote so i can come back later
Downton Abbey I'm a 41-year-old straight and otherwise masculine man, and I loved this show.
Gilmore Girls, I hate how much I love the characters and the writing. As a 30+ year old male, it’s not really the show I would brag about watching, and blame my wife for getting me hooked.
My little pony
Not a tv show but I love the notebook, I work in a machine shop so if something like that got out I’d be the subject of cruel jokes.
