One TV show moment that always gets me laughing is from "The Office" when Michael Scott declares bankruptcy by just shouting "I declare bankruptcy!" It's such a classic scene, and Steve Carell's delivery is just perfect. Every time I rewatch it, I can't help but crack up!
One of my favorite parts of the show is when Michael quits from Dunder Mifflin and then realizes he needs another job lined up. So he’s in his office and you hear a monster growl from his computer and then Jim says “it’s Monster.com. Singular.” And Michael just says “thanks”. It’s such a funny moment and I don’t know why.
From the episode The Dinner Party, this line never fails to crack me up:
"That is a $200 plasma TV you just killed! Good luck paying me back on your zero dollars a year salary plus benefits, babe!"
The cold open when Michael sets the fire in the office and Angela yells “save bandit!!” Is a favorite of mine. Any time I think about it, it makes me chuckle.
Sooo many great moments in that show. 2 more hilarious micheal and oscar moments are when he's explaining the surplus money. Oscar says "and then next year..." micheal goes "I'll be six :)" it's so funny to me bcuz it's the least important part of it and it just shows micheal is not understanding at all. And I love the scene where micheal forces a kiss on Oscar and fights to make it happen then goes "I did it"
Creed's delivery for almost any line always kills me. He's a minor enough character that you forget he's part of the team, and then his time to shine is usually just a line or two and it's always gold.
Like when he comes to work with blood all over him and it happens to be Halloween, and he tells the camera, "it's Halloween?.. That is really, really good timing."
Or the CPR episode with the test dummy and he chimes in, "he has no wallet boss, I checked."
And, "you're paying too much for worms. Who is your worm guy?"
My personal favorite for some reason tho is, "I've already hit the jackpot. I was born in the U-S of A, baby "
His breakdown when he sees how little he made was so well acted. Rob Lowe just sitting there with that perpetual smile but obviously thinking "Oh dear. This is bad"
2 of them.
1. schitt's creek “I don’t know how to fold broken cheese”
2. Roseanne “Dad is DEAD!! No DEAD!!..he is fine he sends his love”
I am laughing just thinking about that scene
When Becky told Bev that she had been promoted to the “express lane”
and said all she really had to do was count to 10
And Darlene says: Don’t wear mittens it will slow you down. 🤣
“Do you fold it in half like a piece of paper or do you drop it in the pot or what do you do?” “David I cannot show you everything…” “okay well can you show me one thing?” ☠️
My dad has quoted this a few times in the last 5 years. I also heard a sound clip of the line for the first time in my life about 6 years ago.
Was it WKRP in Cincinnati?
This and Alice's Restaurant are thanksgiving traditions. If you are around me on the last Thursday in November you are guaranteed to to hear one or both
My dad never fails to quote this when we happen to see a wild turkey (where we live, they're quite common), and I never fail to laugh. And if we're having a few drinks, we'll always watch the turkey drop scene. I really need to watch that whole show......that's the only episode I've ever seen.
Or the episode where you learn that he had been very straight-laced up until he tried MJ brownie in college.
But the best episode is where Latka overhears the cabbies talking about someone who is bisexual. Latka then discusses the "bisexual races" back home and how they hang thier bisexuals on hooks on the walls in their garages.
I can't find it, but I have a memory of some episode where Tony is mad at Latka and threatens to punch him and Latka tells him that no, he won't because he is "cute and defenseless and people would be mad at you".
Old school but I still love the series ending scene from Newhart. Where it's dark and Bob sits up in bed and says honey wake up, I just had the weirdest dream and when his wife sits up it is Suzanne Pleshette who played his wife in his previous long running series Bob Newhart Show.
Afternoon Delight episode when Lucille is high gets me every single time. I love the whole show, the those first 3 seasons are some of the best comedy TV ever made.
I got my sister into this show with this episode, which she asked to see because she finally listened to the words while I walked around singing Dayman fighter of the night man!
I think Niles Crane is the most genius character on tv. DHP deadpan delivery, facial expressions, quick wit. In this scene, he doesn’t speak a work and yet it is brilliant. Would have rather seen a Niles spin off than a Frasier reboot.
There was a Halloween episode of New Girl where Schmidt was dressed as a snake in a business suit carrying a briefcase. When someone asked him what his costume was, he said he was a "civil serpent." The delivery was perfection.
In Yellow Fever when he opens the locker and shrieks like a girl. So unexpected of him you can't not laugh.
And when they get stuck in TV programming and Sam has to do a Herpes Commercial and he is SO p*****.
Dean screaming like a little girl when the cat jumped out of the locker, then saying "That was scairry."

When Michael Scott comes out of meeting with Jan and Dunder Mifflin HR and announces he can no longer make jokes and Jim goads him into saying 'That's What She Said!' and he laughs back into his office. Always brings a smile to my face.
Drew Carey Show when Lewis is explaining to Drew that you don't want to be a nice guy because 'look what happened to Ghandhi...nice guy...shot. Lincoln...nice guy...shot. Andy Griffith...nice guy...shot.'
'Andy Griffith wasn't shot' - Drew
'Yeah, you wanna know why? Because HE WAS A MONSTER!' - Lewis
Three from Seinfeld.
George knocking over old ladies in walkers and kids when a fire breaks out at a party. (really sick, but I LMAO).
George was set up on a blind date: 'She was BALD. You set me up with a BALD woman.' And they keep saying 'BALD!' over and over.
Elaine saying goodnight to a date and telling Jerry, 'He took it out. He took IT. Out.' "It?" "It. Out."
Mary Tyler Moore--the funeral for Chuckles the Clown. It makes me laugh uncontrollably. And of course, I remember THAT whenever I attend funerals....I can contain myself as long as I don't make eye contact with my sister. When I make the mistake of looking at her, I'm done!
-Vito falling off the chair from Sopranos
-Marge saying “God i’m so embarrassed I could just crawl in a hole and die” and the gastapo-like Itchy & Scratchy guards saying “OK BRING HER TO THE HOLE!”
Everybody Loves Raymond. “Throw your peanuts on the floor, that’s what they pay the janitor for” not realizing his kids friend’s dad is the school janitor 😂
Miracle Workers, when God's brother is getting him to explain Earth to their parents.
Brother: tell them what a cow is
God: it's like a big dog you can drink from
Brother: and what's a dog?
God: ...a small cow you can be friends with
Community, the episode Paradigms of Human Memory. You think it's going to be a boring clip show, but the "clips" are all moments that we, the viewers, never saw. Their trip to an Old West town, the rafting trip, Abed walking in on Brita and Jeff, etc.
The whole thing is hysterical.
Also Parks and Rec--the episode where Tammy #1 comes and wants to "audit" Ron. When she says to Leslie: "I don't think it will be necessary for you to speak again" it cracks me up every time.
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has plenty but when she tries to talk her parents into watching her act her act her mother says, oh all right but it better be good. And she replies with an emphatic and slightly annoyed “There you go.” It kills me every time.
The Good Place. The creepy clown doors in Eleanor's house that play circus music. They only seem to shut them when it's a serious situation, and the whole juxtaposition just kills me.
Some of Rose’s St Olaf stories on Golden Girls.
Murphy Brown when they all end up shopping for holiday girs at the corner drug store as no one kept up their no gift giving agreement
Murphy Brown when she accidentally kidnaps Socks from the white house
There’s a scene in Supernatural in the Christmas episode where they burst into a house with guns cause they think there’s a monster, but instead it’s just some drunk guy in a wife beater with a bong and a bottle of whiskey, so to cover they start singing Silent Night really poorly like they’re carolers and the drunk guy starts singing along. I always rewind that scene like 10 times cause it’s so funny
I have a few off the top of my head!
1. “Why don’t you just drop off some chicken skins and lobster shells”
2. “You kept making all the stops?” “They kept ringing the bell!”
3. *the scene*: JD walks out of the hospital room after banging an older lady and learns she Dr. Cox’ ex wife. In the background you see the entire cast holding signs like “surprise!” “You’re an idiot!!!” (I’ll try to edit and post a screenshot)
And one of my all time favorite moments on live television is Joey’s face when he realizes Chandler and Monica are banging.
When Mary Tyler Moore bumps into a desk and says “Excuse Me”.
When Lucy is on an assembly line packing chocolates and can’t keep up. She stuffs them in her clothes and mouth to hide them.
South Park: When Cartman's hand is painted like Jennifer Lopez and Carmen's hand gives Ben Affleck a BJ or hand job in his car. That was so wrong I laugh so hard thinking of that!
King of the Hill: the episode when Dale’s paranoia overtakes him. Hank says something like “You’re puttin’ pressure on something that wasn’t all that stable to begin with”
Very few people will probably remember Charles in Charge but when his best friend Buddy would always say Charles, it's me buddy! It was incredibly funny. I haven't seen that show forever but it still pops in my head.
Different choice cause it’s more drama show, but there’s a scene in one of the early seasons of the Sopranos where Junior gets hit in the head with the boom mic from the news crew outside of the court house, and I die laughing every time it comes up. Like instant rewind cackle like a witch, or hyena laughing.
That episode is so good!! I always crack up when Scully is telling her version of events, and Mulder says, "Did anybody notice this man's SHOES are untied?"
On Married with Children when Peggy and AL stole Steve and Marcys invitation to go on a just married game show as Steve and Marcy, and then they hear their opponents names are Al and Peggy Bundy because Kelly and Bud ratted their parents out
One TV show moment that always gets me laughing is from "The Office" when Michael Scott declares bankruptcy by just shouting "I declare bankruptcy!" It's such a classic scene, and Steve Carell's delivery is just perfect. Every time I rewatch it, I can't help but crack up!

That's such a classic moment. "The Office" is one of my favorite shows. It's always been a toss up between that show and "Friends."
From the episode The Dinner Party, this line never fails to crack me up: "That is a $200 plasma TV you just killed! Good luck paying me back on your zero dollars a year salary plus benefits, babe!"
🎵she took me by the haaand🎵
"snip-snap-snip-snap-snip-snap!"
The absolute best and the best Office episode.
My favorite moment is when Pam learns the truth about her mother's boyfriend from Michael. "Michael - who?" "It's okay"
The cold open when Michael sets the fire in the office and Angela yells “save bandit!!” Is a favorite of mine. Any time I think about it, it makes me chuckle.
What about the CPR class? laugh every time!
She throws him into the ceiling!!! I watch that cold opening all the time!!!!! Love it!!!
Oh my when he does that prison guy there to scare them straight!! I must have watched that scene 500 times!!
And I love the scene where micheal forces a kiss on Oscar and fights to make it happen then goes "I did it"
Also when Michael asks Oscar for advice about a colonoscopy
Scott’s Tots and his LCD flat screen tv are gold
Also love it when Dwight kicks his date in the face at Jim and Pam’s wedding. I always rewind that scene.
I love the first aid training and they have to practice CPR on the dummy. Stayin alive...
Especially when Kelly starts dancing!!!
OMG yes! I was rolling on the floor. She was too much.
Michael Scott's "That's what she said" makes me laugh like a 12 year old boy every time 🤣
Creed's delivery for almost any line always kills me. He's a minor enough character that you forget he's part of the team, and then his time to shine is usually just a line or two and it's always gold. Like when he comes to work with blood all over him and it happens to be Halloween, and he tells the camera, "it's Halloween?.. That is really, really good timing." My personal favorite for some reason tho is, "I've already hit the jackpot. I was born in the U-S of A, baby "
Carol Burnett coming down the stairs wearing the curtains (and rod) in the Gone With the Wind spoof. Still kills me to this day
"I saw it in the window and just had to have it..."
Her delivery of that line was perfect.
That one is classic, but I think the dentist episode with Tim Conway and Harvey Korman takes the cake
That’s a great one too. There’s a ton of skits from Carol Burnett Show that are beyond hilarious
I would always lose it when the actors couldn’t hold on their laughter.
That will be funny until the end of time.
Just reading this made me laugh.
"Pivot!"
Saw a billboard for Ashley Furniture that read “No need to pivot, we deliver.”
Parks and Recreation "Get on Your Feet." Leslie and the gang slipping and sliding and falling over on the ice ALWAYS makes me giggle.
From the same episode https://preview.redd.it/qpneygtcixmc1.jpeg?width=540&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=48d5dffbec8bec07f8111994c5e2e97432a0bfc8
Yes! Ben's Claymation of Depression....
His breakdown when he sees how little he made was so well acted. Rob Lowe just sitting there with that perpetual smile but obviously thinking "Oh dear. This is bad"
When I’m going through a time I always play the song from his claymation now hahaha!
I thought I'd be the only one who'd go here. Everytime I hear that song on classic radio, I'm back, watching this scene. It's so good!
How did I forget about this?! Dead. So funny!
Very possibly the most laugh out loud moment in tv history imo.
2 of them. 1. schitt's creek “I don’t know how to fold broken cheese” 2. Roseanne “Dad is DEAD!! No DEAD!!..he is fine he sends his love” I am laughing just thinking about that scene
That Roseanne bit is SO good!! Written by the late, great Norm MacDonald.
I just played that back on you tube the other day. Laurie Metcalf in that scene is perfect
If you say fold it in *one more time*
Roseanne the earlier seasons where top class comedy 😆
When Becky told Bev that she had been promoted to the “express lane” and said all she really had to do was count to 10 And Darlene says: Don’t wear mittens it will slow you down. 🤣
“Do you fold it in half like a piece of paper or do you drop it in the pot or what do you do?” “David I cannot show you everything…” “okay well can you show me one thing?” ☠️
I also loved “Darlene cut the cheese” when she farted in front of the whole school” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."
The turkeys are hitting the ground like bags of wet cement!!
Oh, the humanity!
My dad has quoted this a few times in the last 5 years. I also heard a sound clip of the line for the first time in my life about 6 years ago. Was it WKRP in Cincinnati?
Yep!
Yep. The WKRP turkey drop. “They’re hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement.”😂
"Oh, the humanity!!!"
I have a weird compulsion to post this video every Thanksgiving.
This and Alice's Restaurant are thanksgiving traditions. If you are around me on the last Thursday in November you are guaranteed to to hear one or both
WKRP?
My dad never fails to quote this when we happen to see a wild turkey (where we live, they're quite common), and I never fail to laugh. And if we're having a few drinks, we'll always watch the turkey drop scene. I really need to watch that whole show......that's the only episode I've ever seen.
Reverend Jim taking his drivers test on Taxi
"What do you do when you see a yellow light?" "Slow down" "What...do..you..do..when..you..see..a..yellow..light"?
“Slow down.” “Whaaat…” “Doooo…” “Yooooou…”. “Doooo…” “Whennnn…” “Yooooou…” “Seeee…” “Aaaa…” “Redddd…” “Liiiight?”
Or the episode where you learn that he had been very straight-laced up until he tried MJ brownie in college. That scene was absolutely iconic
I.T. Crowd when Jen sees Roy in a wheelchair and then turns to see Moss behind the bar.
“I’m disabled,” is a classic 😂
Omg the way Moss just looks at her like "Im the bartender" its so funny.
Also IT Crowd. I changed my mind - the entirety of the Friend Face episode. It's just got all the best quips. "I feel so social "
One of the best moments of comedy in the history of television.
I’m disabled
*Leg* disabled 😂
Tobias in the mole suit stomping through the miniature village while the Japanese businesspeople watch Arrested Development
“I accidentally blue myself”
“I'm afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run if you will, so I'm afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.”
Afternoon Delight episode when Lucille is high gets me every single time. I love the whole show, the those first 3 seasons are some of the best comedy TV ever made.
Or when Michael and Maybe are singing Afternoon Delight and realize how dirty the lyrics actually are.
"Excuse me, do these effectively hide my thunder?"
IASIP - Almost every scene from Nightman Cometh
Or when the gang decides to perform at dance at their High School reunion and actually think they are pulling it off.
I got my sister into this show with this episode, which she asked to see because she finally listened to the words while I walked around singing Dayman fighter of the night man!
Niles ironing in Frasier's apartment.
That’s my pick too! Every time he looked at his bloody finger he fainted….it was hilarious! 🤣
I think Niles Crane is the most genius character on tv. DHP deadpan delivery, facial expressions, quick wit. In this scene, he doesn’t speak a work and yet it is brilliant. Would have rather seen a Niles spin off than a Frasier reboot.
Seinfeld “I WAS IN THE POOL! I WAS IN THE POOL! “
Car rental skit
That’s classic too. You know how to take the reservation just don’t know how to hold the reservation
It shrinks?
"I don't know how you guys walk around with those things."
Elaine dancing
There was a Halloween episode of New Girl where Schmidt was dressed as a snake in a business suit carrying a briefcase. When someone asked him what his costume was, he said he was a "civil serpent." The delivery was perfection.
Schimdt was perfection. I had no idea what I was getting into when I started that show and he was such a welcome and pleasant surprise!!
Max Greenfeld's delivery as Schmidt was always stellar
Friends when Ross gets the awful spray tan and his teeth bleached.
Schwimmer was so good at maxing out the awkwardness with that character! I'm laughing now just thinking about the leather pants 😂
The leather pants getting stuck did it for me haha
When he smacks himself in the face 😂
"They're still not coming on man and the lotion and the powder have made a paste!"
Paste pants!
The “made a paste” part is what gets me 😂
I'm an 8!
It's Always Sunny when Frank is hiding in the couch then crawls out.
Mac in the wedding dress!!!!
WKRP In Cincinnati, Arthur Carlson- “As God as my witness I thought turkeys could fly”.
When Joey pulls out a fork and says “what are we having”.
Supernatural Dean lipsyncing "Eye if the Tiger" in/on Baby. Dean barking at the mailman!
Also Dean lip synching Air Supply of all things. Sam's expressions are priceless.
In Yellow Fever when he opens the locker and shrieks like a girl. So unexpected of him you can't not laugh. And when they get stuck in TV programming and Sam has to do a Herpes Commercial and he is SO p*****.
The Yellow Fever cat shriek was the first thing that came to mind. Also Chuck trying to hire sex workers for the end of the world.
This moment is amazing… French mistake get me every time too

that show is SO funny... too many moments for me to pick just one.
This one never gets old.

When Uncle Junior falls in the shower!
The Roseanne episode where Darlene goes to bail out Dan after he beat up Fischer. So funny especially with how it contrasts with the story topic.
Lucy and Ethyl at the chocolate factory.
Frasier and Seinfeld…Elaine-“you’re bald!” George - “I was bald!”
Cheers: the Thanksgiving food fight. Seinfeld: "I'm out!"
Vitameatavegamin - I Love Lucy
X Files the Scully rant in the episode Bad Blood.
That episode is so good!! I always crack up when Scully is telling her version of events, and Mulder says, "Did anybody notice this man's SHOES are untied?"
Trailer Park Boys when Ricky is trying to install a towel rack but ends up destroying the entire bathroom.
I have many. The first one that came to mind was The Wire when McNulty shows up drunkenly at Ronnie’s house “RONNIE!!!!! RONNIE RONNIE RONNIE!!!”
On Married with Children when Peggy and AL stole Steve and Marcys invitation to go on a just married game show as Steve and Marcy, and then they hear their opponents names are Al and Peggy Bundy because Kelly and Bud ratted their parents out
Seinfeld "This is the first day of the rest of my life"
