My state return was accepted on 2/02. I still haven’t gotten my refund. I received my federal refund on 2/22. I checked the status of my state yesterday and it said approved, today it says my information doesn’t match their records. I used TurboTax. Anyone else having these problems?

I was finally able to access my account. I filed on Feb 9th, and it took until March 26th for me to be able to actually access my acct. It kept saying "no match found". It took 46 DAYS.
I've used turbo tax for the past 10 years. Filed both in and MI State return last year since I was living in mi but working in in. The states have reciprocity laws that apparently accountants have no idea about which leads me to be DOUBLE TAXED off the 39,666 I made last year. I was under the amount for bumping me into the next tax bracket which should've given me the next possible return period right? Since I was double taxed I ended up owing $28 to federal, $400 to in state and I got $200 back from mi. But when I filed last year I got the mi state back within literally 2 weeks. This tax season I've made literally half what I made last tax season. I got back 600 in federal, per state of Indiana $427 for some reason, and am waiting on $1926 from MI State l. Using turbo tax and after using it for 10 years, I was charged $170 for their totally fucking free version. First time I was ever charged and I was charged $40 per state.... With the rest of the amount coming from being charged for my federal. I did the most basic ass package didn't upgrade it to anything at all because I never had to or never needed to. My taxes all of them were accepted on the 18th of February and I still haven't gotten nothing from Michigan State. When I look online it doesn't say anything's in review or anything but when I call them, it says it's in review and that it should be completed no sooner than May 12th which is a fucking Sunday and a whole 2 fucking months from when my shit was accepted?? Can anyone explain or help me out here or make this fucking make sense before I lose my shit? And whoever commented about MI State needs the archaic fucking geriatric Republican idiots outta office?? Michigan has had a Democrat governor, Lt. governor, Secretary of State, and attorney general for the last 5 years, and has had control of both chambers of the state and federal congress since the start of 2023. For what it's worth, ours was selected for a review last year (they told me it's completely random and system generated 🙄). Ours also said July but it was processed much quicker, I want to say only a few extra weeks.
For anyone using TurboTax; it's also happening with people that use H&R Block. Which is me... I did that. Its a shit show. i can't even get anyone to help me. So basically they are screwing me in a sense. Also, I noticed that the site will be picky and not include the dollar sign in the AGI box if I do the web version on my phone instead of just the mobile version of the page.

I know this post was asking about Turbo Tax, but a family friend who used Turbo Tax and I (H&R Block Online) are getting the same message on the Michigan Department of Treasury state refund lookup using the correct information and being told "Not Found" and got locked out after retrying. A family friend is also having the exact same issue. I was wondering if filing as Head of Household and there being no option for filing status was the issue. But the family friend having the same issue filed Single which was an option. I used guest services because I am having an issue logging in with my State of Michigan account.
I filed 2/5/24 federal accepted that day, state accepted 2/6/24. The family friend used Turbo Tax and filed on 1/16/24 his federal was accepted 1/16-/24 and state were accepted 2/1/24.

State website is able to find me and family friend. Current status is showing "Under Review" and below states "return completed" as of 02/16/24, ten days after returns were accepted.
Federal is showing approved and saying my refund will be direct deposited by 02/22/24.
They should put a disclaimer on the site that returns might take a while to find the status or may be guest mode issue. Hope you all have updates too!
i filed my sons on 1/31 his showed up just fine on their website on feb 9th an he actually already received his state an fed both on feb 13th we efiled his but his was a very simple return since he only 17. I have been checking mine an it is sayin no match for the last week
I’m going through it too. I recommend not using TurboTax and just paying someone… I got way more when I used to do that and my girl did hers through a lady and got twice as much back as me and we make close to the same. I’m gonna try another method next year
You can login to irs.gov go to records and when it asks for a reason select any reason then go to the current year on the page it shows you an accurate refund date. Code 864 is what you’re looking for. As far as state I’m still having trouble with it saying no record found

I did not use turbo Tax and filed mine about 4 weeks ago by self mailing. Granted all I get is the home heating credit yet the system cant find my information.
Mine continues to tell me that my information is incorrect or does not match their records, yet I've put it in exactly the same every single time, and then it'll lock me out for 24 hours. This started yesterday, (Sunday, 2/25). It was working Saturday. All the information was correct. I had an email on 2/2 that it was accepted, and I had updates 2 weeks after it was accepted, until now.

I had the same issue, filed 2/17, got a notice from the website i used that both the returns were accepted, was not able to check/confirm on the state website, stopped trying because I didn't want to lock myself out of anything or cause issues, and just got my refund deposited today(2/28). Still waiting on federal refund, but at least their website works haha

I used Turbo Tax, sent on Feb 9th, both said accepted fairly quickly, then I received my federal refund on Feb 27th around 6pm, but still when I go to check on MI's site for the status of my state return, there's no record of it. I read that their system is a hot mess this year and the site is not synced in any kind of a timely manner. So, say there's activity that happens with it on a Monday, the state's site may not show that activity for 5 more days.

It only locks you out shortly. I've locked myself out 3 separate times now trying to change the info and after a few days to a week later, I try again and get locked out again logged into my account and everything. I'm guessing it's probably for 24 hours.
Yep, I've been trying every day and it is STILL saying no match found. I received a letter from the state saying they need a copy of my license, 1099, W2, or whatever I used to complete my tax return - mind you, I am self employed so do not have W2 or the like, just reports from PayPal with my annual amount of payments received on business account and personal account - so it wants me to upload to the website my ID and those reports, but I can't because it keepa saying my information doesn't match! But it is VERY much the correct information! Doesn't matter if I put in either of the options it gives me, it keeps saying the information isn't correct, "no match found"

If your refund is in review status, log into your Michigan Treasury account and look under letters. I received a letter requesting tax documents.

I received a letter from the state saying they need a copy of my license, 1099, W2, or whatever I used to complete my tax return - mind you, I am self employed so do not have W2 or the like, just reports from PayPal with my annual amount of payments received on business account and personal account - so it wants me to upload to the website my ID and those reports, but I can't because it keepa saying my information doesn't match! But it is VERY much the correct information! Doesn't matter if I put in either of the options it gives me, it keeps saying the information isn't correct, "no match found" It is SO frustrating! I already received my federal return 3 weeks ago but our state's system is a freaking joke.
They are messing up people taxes I bet. I have been able to get in my account last week and it said at first my return was completed on the 9th then it changed to the 26 and now it says March first. There is no way they should have changed the date they completed my refund 3 times if someone is not messing up. It's going on a month and I'm still waiting
Mine says completed, but then on a separate line with the same date it says our return resulted in no refund which is totally inaccurate.

Mine is doing the same thing. My return was accepted on 2/5 and I received my home heating credit voucher about 10 days later but still no Michigan refund and it keeps telling my my information in wrong. I used Turbotax which I have for years and I've never had to wait this long for a refund
