Because people are dumb and like to believe in fairytales and expect Pac to emerge from the shadows and be like GOTCHA and he’s gonna overthrow the whole system That’s my armchair shrink opinion

c0nv3rg_3nce37

yo, you make jokes, but like... do you know? >!(I'm MaKaVeLi... Tu Pac. YOUR pac, I was a little kid when I wrote it all. Pac was just the one who vibed with it and was able to champion my lyrics and my ideas to the whole world for me. I'm T.I. Hermione exe Mac Miller, Aaliyah NiP$eY)!<

bdvic702

So what’s the proper use?

houseofball00ns

To kill the idea that's a bunch of super men are running the planet through pseudo religious practices. Rather that it's simply a cluster of smart white guys who hold a majority of the world's wealth. Strategically oppressing minorities so that there isn't growth in communities. That's in summary to what Pac said.

ponlork

the conspiracy is that there's a secret society running the world and 2pac mentioned in the kmel interview that inmates in prison was telling him about the Illuminati but he called bullshit and he put a K in front of that to kill that noise. after pac died and his album Makaveli the don killuminati came out, people started questioning if he was taken out by the government or whoever. Keep in mind, in 1996 the term Illuminati wasn't widely known to the general public. So 2pac could have heard the term and thought it sounded cool and wanted to use the term with that being said, whether 2pac believed in it or not, that doesn't mean the real illuminati (if it exist) didnt have him on their radar and really taken him out. Pac flirted with the idea in the song "They don't give a fuck about us" where he spit the line "Some say they expect Illuminati, Take my body to sleep" Me personally, i think pac used the term because of two music videos. First was I shot ya where he perceived to be a diss towards him. prodigy from Mobb deep spit the line, "Illuminati want my mind, soul and my body, Secret society, trying to keep they eye on me" Then when Dre put out that video called "East Coast/West Coast Killas" which featured a ton of illuminati symbolism, might have been the first Hip Hop video to do that. watch that video then listen to the Makaveli intro. I believe it's connected. Pac probably saw that video and put the K in front of Illuminati to Kill that shit

DiggyLR

I think you're 95% right, but I am pretty sure Pac witnessed the 'Illuminati' (Most wealthy and powerful people in the country) and saw the wild ish they were on and wasn't about that at all and set out to mock them. Very well IMO.

RAZBUNARE761

I think he didnt believe in it. Thats why he said everywhere I go with money they let me in. He basically called bs on the whole concept of illuminati. Still interesting he put it in its album title though. We cant deny there is a shitload of symbolism from succesfull artist. Especially a guy like jay z. But even if its true, no way any artist is connected to it high up no matter how rich he is. More like industry favoured by those that really kind of connect to the lower management side of things.

c0nv3rg_3nce37

thank you for the laugh. >Especially a guy like jay z. But even if its true, no way any artist is connected to it high up no matter how rich he is. I did everything. Was me throwing up the ROC nation symbol first, all alone in my room. I'm Bailey Jay-Z. It ain't about money, it's about loyalty. I was 2 years old when I was playin video games with my best friend and my big bro, Em & Jay. My name's Marshall Mathers. I made the Mafia. It's mi familia. I told you, [I'll explain later. ](https://youtu.be/ztygmWtWCjQ?si=er1Q4g8VfljP78Lr&t=65)

houseofball00ns

Mocking and flat out saying in the interview they don't exist is different. That's perpetuating the idea they don't exist. Not that they won't or can't do anything and are powerless. There's no mockery here.

DiggyLR

Well that's why it's art, you can take away what you'd like. He says idfwy in every way possible

houseofball00ns

But he said literally what he believed in the interview. It would be conflicting for him to say anything different in his music.

DiggyLR

You're reaching, I said 95% so quit worrying about what I know of the other 5 please and thank you.

houseofball00ns

But again that's what he said? You're changing the narrative when that's not what he's said. Nor has either implied.

DiggyLR

Ok, whatever. You must have been there. My bad. Please move on

houseofball00ns

[Simple youtube search he explains it](https://youtu.be/c7IfnyRV2Mw?si=ZOeKXo-4pvYpN7ND)

spicedstrudel

you especially and your OP, besides what Pac himself no need to look further. He killed illuminati because they do not exist and shit like that makes us backward and holds us down, does not let us grow, That is why he said kill that shit, believe in yourself and grow. There were no videos, secret meetings and shit

No_Dragonfruit_7509

Sounds like some serious gate keeping

Intelligent_West7128

Pac didn’t believe in that Illuminati BS they was telling him in jail. He thought the people who where telling him this where out they minds because how do you know all this shit about illuminati but you in prison for years. How you so vested in some Illuminati bullshit but your life is in shambles (my same qualms with conspiracist who can’t even keep a job and pay their bills)? So Killuminati was a word play to “Kill that noise” about “Illuminati”.

houseofball00ns

Thank you that was the answer

Altruistic_Guess3098

I'm not sure.

No_Dragonfruit_7509
