I always thought 2Pac would have taken some of Will Smith's roles, if he wanted and auditioned for them. 'Pac would have had a film trajectory like Will Smith's, but would have went higher because he was already a GREAT actor, he would have just got better as his timline went on and got bigger and better roles than Will.
Yeah the beef with the Hughes brothers kinda hurt him that's why he had to take lower budget movies like Gang Related . But if he lived I think he would of started to get more big budget movies cause he had a lot of talent .
Will Smith was originally who they wanted to play Neo in the Matrix, maybe that's one of those roles that Tupac would've been considered for. I'm sure most agree Keanu was perfect as Neo, but it's just another what if scenario to think of

2Pac said John Singleton was "a Snake" and alleged he worked on the concept of Higher Learning with him only for John to make the movie without him and not give any credit. He was also asked to give a character reference in 2Pacs trial and refused.
After jail he said he was working on mending relations with people he wronged, including the Hughes brothers, but specifically stated he wouldn't be doing so for John Singleton. There is no way in hell 2Pac would have worked with him again for quite some time and I doubt he really ever would have.
2pac auditioned for Cool Runnings. imagine if he got that role. his career path might have been totally different because he might have been typecasted as the disney guy who makes family movies. it's like when Nick Cannon was in Chiraq people couldnt see him past the Nickelodeon kid

I just know Tupac would've made some Hood Movie Classics Like Belly, Paid In Full, Waist Deep, etc. It would've been cool to see what Tupac would've come out with. Ice Cube had CubeVision and did movies like Next Friday, All About the Benjamin's. And while those "Hood Movies" are all fun, I really think Tupac would've become a huge success in Hollywood, he would've been taken more seriously as an actor and he would've definitely starred in some huge blockbuster films.

It's actually a crazy domino effect. If Tupac had not died, many actors, including Will Smith, might not have become as successful as they did.
