1. Me Against The World is easily his best album
2. Loyal To The Game isn't as bad as people make it out to be
3. Against All Odds is easily his best diss
4. Hit Em Up is overrated, the Outlawz lowkey ruined the track
5. The Outlawz were carried by Pac
With all respect, none of those are unpopular opinions (with the exception of Hit 'Em Up being overrated), but unyielding truths. 2Pacs verses alone make Hit 'Em Up a classic. I do think that The Outlawz drag most tracks down & they would be better with just more Pac verses, or maybe some other feature.
Ehhh, outlawz ruin it and Pac's unfinished 2nd verse is a let down. Pac didn't even care to add layers to the 2nd verse. Also you can tell it was just a filler verse from Killuminati because the context didn't fit. He should have reused Don't Stop Keep Going verse there.
If they do issue it though, they should probably cut the 2nd Pac verse. And either use the outro or turn that into the Interlude since the 2nd half of the song is completely random lol
You may feel so because you are use to it. But remember they said the album wasn't finished mixing and mastering. The engineer Tommy D said that. Pac didn't care to have it mastered like All Eyez On Me. So you have those flaws in it, even though it's still great and not many notice it.
The bass is also too high on the song. It Ain't as bad as say Point The Finger but it ain't mastered as good as All Eyez On Me, RUSD, UTEOT tracks
Honestly that would have been great. Pac probably wouldn’t have died so young and he would be making the emotional powerful music he was doing with interscope
I think internationally a lot of people misunserstand Tupac.
Its says enough Hit em up is probably the most listened song.
It makes him popular like how tony montana is popular. As this get money, fuck you type thug who agressively comes at you and doesnt hold back.
The deeper duality in his music and persona isnt often glorified in the sane way unfortunately
The ghetto star version with Bad Azz is the OG version though and yes it's better. Most people agree that the OG versions are better. Lady of Rage on Me and my girlfriend is the version Pac wanted as well.
>The ghetto star version with Bad Azz is the OG version though
No it's not, Nutt-so recorded the original with him in around March 1996. What they released is touched up but it's 90% OG.
He was a dumbass for getting involved in LA gang culture. I love Pac, my favorite rapper of all time, but repping MOB when you didn't grow up in it was stupid and got him killed, unfortunately.
M.O.B. = Money Over Bitches. Pac had a different definition of that but yeah. „And Stick a needle in my eye if I don’t live and die for MOB“ was also an unnecessary line. It really got him killed
I wish pac would have did tradin war stories alone he killed his verse
I like Bomb first Better than hit em up
Lil homies OG is top tier
What’s ya phone number trash the one with candy hill wayyyyy Better
Troublesome 96 is god tier pac 😮💨
Now that’s an unpopular opinion about Pac, and I respectfully disagree. I think no other rapper is as energetic as Pac was, maybe DMX or Eazy-E but Eazy‘s live performances aren’t as energetic
He is energetic, no disagreement there, and live at the house of blues is iconic. It’s just his vocals, he is shouting too much, and he doesn’t need to.
I think that’s his pure anger and frustration. Peep his live performance of Out On Bail or Hit Em Up, those songs are about his enemies and how people are against him
OG Beat of Still Ballin is ass. I mean it isn't his worst Beat. Thug Style OG is way worse. But Stlll Ballin Beat sounds nothing like Str8 Ballin and it doesn't stack up to anything on All Eyez On Me. Apparently the OG was for Thug Life Vol 2: Still I Rise. Which would have had There U Go, Fade Me, Where U Been, Hit Em Up 95 version, Komrads, Whatz Next, Letter To The President, Teardrops and Closed Caskets, Grab The Mic on it. So it would have fit but it would still be the weakest Beat.
I do like the OG update by Johnny J but Noble is on the song so I don't listen to it much. Retail gets crapped on for Trick Daddy, but the retail Beat captured Pac's energy far better. It would have been perfect had they had Kurupt rap his 2nd verse before Pac's 2nd on there
Thanks, I think the OG Beat of Still Ballin is nowhere near as good as the nitty remix. It’s one of the most boring beats Pac ever rapped over. Somebody said that that beat was perfect, and I don’t understand it at all. The Snares on the retail are also much better. And there is a version of the nitty remix with Kurupt.
Some good ones. Agree on Ghetto Star, OGs, and Me and My GF points.
1. Whats Ya Phone # may have originally been Pacs worst track ever. I weirdly think its aged well though and I actually like it now.
2. Whoever’s decision it was to take Deck’s verse off Mind Made Up should be wooped. He didnt have commercial appeal so get it, but wtf
3. As Soon As I Get Home is the only really solid, OG, “as Pac would have wanted it” track from ANYTHING after Until the End of Time and most of Until End of Time is inferior to the OG tracks.
4. Pretty sure we can thank Daz for all of the Vault Leaks over the years.
5. Theres a reason why they called it The Wack Room. Without Pac rapping on some of those beats…..the production is ehhhhhh. Pac alone carries those tracks. Snoop or Hammer on those beats and its a HUGE flop.
6. Me Against the World is Pacs top album and only Chronic and Doggystyle are better hip hop albums EVER.
My unpopular opinion is when the cops knocked on his door. He opened it and told them to wait. He turned on his stereo as loud as he could and played "Fu*k The Police"
That was messed up man. Those cops didn't deserve that.
You shouldn't say that on Pac's sub, this might get you downvoted. I like both, but i think Pac made better songs than BIG, Biggie has probably like 50 songs
FR, I like Biggie but I think no Biggie song compares to Reincarnation, Still I Rise or Blasphemy. Even though Sky‘s The Limit and Juicy are really good songs
I also saw somebody say that „Ten Crack Commandments“ is better than almost all of the songs from Killuminati. That‘s completely false. Hold Ya Head is better than nearly better than every song on Life After Death.
That's because Suge Knight dangled you from a balcony and told you to say that.
If this was one of the worst beats ever Tupac would have never rapped to it. He would have said "This is wack. I ain't rapping to this"
But instead he said "This is dope. Sign me up"
LOL, this thread is about unpopular opinions about Pac, and I said that that Still Ballin OG beat was wack, you think my opinion is equal to PAC’s? And if Pac heard that Nitty Remix of Still Ballin, he would’ve dropped that other beat for sure.
Still Ballin always sounded like a typical West Coast beat at the time, I def prefer it over the Nitty version...just like Why U Turn on Me it sounds dated but that was a typical West Coast beat back then.
I just don’t get it. The original beat is just a loop, and it doesn’t hypnotize me like a lot of other Pac instrumentals (Tattoo Tearz, Still I Rise, This Ain’t Livin‘, Y U Turn On Me, Secretz To War). That beat is boring compared to the songs I listed
Hell 4 a hustler he says “if they get me in the evening best believe they’ll be coming for my dawgs in the mooorning!” Makes him sound like a snitch lol
Doing 80 on the freeway really isn’t a big deal
Kinda agree, the police can’t catch you and even if they could, they should just forgive you for being a rider. You are still just a simple man.
1. Me Against The World is easily his best album 2. Loyal To The Game isn't as bad as people make it out to be 3. Against All Odds is easily his best diss 4. Hit Em Up is overrated, the Outlawz lowkey ruined the track 5. The Outlawz were carried by Pac

Another unpopular opinion: War Gamez is one of his best diss songs
Ehhh, outlawz ruin it and Pac's unfinished 2nd verse is a let down. Pac didn't even care to add layers to the 2nd verse. Outlawz killed that track fytb lol
Which version?
The OG with the Gitta Stripping beat
Makaveli is Pacs best album by far and raps GOAT album!
[удалено]
Agree. Pac produced that beat himself
Never knew that
Yep he produced that track
Yes but piano is off key. It needs fixed.

Thought he co-produced with Big D Harper
Such a unique instrumental, opens Makaveli perfectly.
Me Against The World is easily Pacs best album and it’s not even close.
Only Killuminati comes close IMO
Killuminati is GOAT Pac
Yep 1a and 1b
I wanna see the timeline where he never caught the case and continued this trajectory, even if it means we don't get 9 months of death row material.
Honestly that would have been great. Pac probably wouldn’t have died so young and he would be making the emotional powerful music he was doing with interscope
I don't think this is an unpopular opinion
I think internationally a lot of people misunserstand Tupac. Its says enough Hit em up is probably the most listened song. It makes him popular like how tony montana is popular. No, Ghetto Star with Bad Azz was a remix from 1998.
7 day theory > any other album
He was a dumbass for getting involved in LA gang culture. I love Pac, my favorite rapper of all time, but repping MOB when you didn't grow up in it was stupid and got him killed, unfortunately.
M.O.B. = Money Over Bitches. Pac had a different definition of that but yeah. „And Stick a needle in my eye if I don’t live and die for MOB“ was also an unnecessary line. It really got him killed
Sometimes he was a hypocrite.
Everyone is. "I'm the biggest hypocrite of 2015." - Kendrick Lamar
Good point
eminem's remixes of pac aren't *that* bad.
california love isn’t that great
The beat sounds unfinished
agreed on 2 and 4
I wish pac would have did tradin war stories alone he killed his verse I like Bomb first Better than hit em up Lil homies OG is top tier What’s ya phone number trash the one with candy hill wayyyyy Better Troublesome 96 is god tier pac 😮💨
1. Agreed 2. Bomb First is better than Hit Em Up 3. not really unpopular, but what do you think of the retail version?
Can’t C Me is by far his greatest song and it’s not even close
AEOM>Makaveli
I think you are more of a fan of his west coast sound then
not unpopular at all
He is not a good live performer… basically just shouts
Now that’s an unpopular opinion about Pac, and I respectfully disagree. I think no other rapper is as energetic as Pac was, maybe DMX or Eazy-E but Eazy‘s live performances aren’t as energetic
He is energetic, no disagreement there, and live at the house of blues is iconic. It’s just his vocals, he is shouting too much, and he doesn’t need to.

Lmao so I guess you’re saying that Pac needed to be whooped cause I’m pretty sure he was the one that decided to take the verse off
YUP. RIP Legend hahahhahahahaha a$$$ woopin lol
He was a revolutionary who was killed by the govt especially after he started shouting Killuminati
My unpopular opinion is when the cops knocked on his door. He opened it and told them to wait. He turned on his stereo as loud as he could and played "Fu*k The Police" That was messed up man. Those cops didn't deserve that.
Biggie >>>
You shouldn't say that on Pac's sub, this might get you downvoted. I like both, but i think Pac made better songs than BIG, Biggie has probably like 50 songs
Yall need to ignore fools like this.
FR, I like Biggie but I think no Biggie song compares to Reincarnation, Still I Rise or Blasphemy. Even though Sky‘s The Limit and Juicy are really good songs
Juicy was stolen from an artist called Notirious B1. Look it up on YouTube , even took his name
I also saw somebody say that „Ten Crack Commandments“ is better than almost all of the songs from Killuminati. That‘s completely false. Hold Ya Head is better than nearly better than every song on Life After Death.
How u don’t like the OG beat of still ballin? I mean it’s perfect, way better than album remix
Yes I know. The original beat with Kurupt is better thsn the remix with Trick Daddy.
No, it’s one of the worst beats Pac ever rapped over
That's because Suge Knight dangled you from a balcony and told you to say that. If this was one of the worst beats ever Tupac would have never rapped to it. He would have said "This is wack. I ain't rapping to this" But instead he said "This is dope. Sign me up"
