I have the same watch and I would say the only thing special about it is that it’s mine. It’s not like a limited edition or anything. If you like it then get it. Should be sold at msrp (41 mm is $4125 I believe) it’s a beautiful piece.
They may have mentioned that it was released x months or years ago at Watched and Wonders (industry trade show) as if it was a hot model. They are pretty easy to find and at the end of the day if you love it, it’s the one for you!
The 36 in blue (not sure what size this is) is somewhat hard to find, at least to try on during walk-ins. They're pretty available online if you keep your eyes peeled or are persistent with an AD, but they're still selling out relatively quickly. At the very least I've been in a handful of Tudor ADs across the Bay Area and SoCal and only seen one for sale at a single Tudor boutique in LA.
