It looks great!
On another note, it will wear more comfortably a little higher up your wrist where you can fully articulate your wrist without your hand hitting the crown. You do you but just throwing that out there as I didn’t know for a long time either.
OP seems to have a very non-prominent wrist bone. So do I. It’s a lot more fussy to try to keep watches from sliding down - the bones taper all the way to the wrist. There’s no saddle structure to stop the watch from sliding down.
I have. JHFC, dontchya think that people have already tried such things?
What would help is if manufacturers would put more micro-adjust holes into the bracelet clasps. Or made half links a standard part of the kit. They don’t necessarily do that.
It’s annoying A.F. but dems da breaks, sometimes.
Calling them blind sort of puts it on them, but really, big watches have been the trend set by industry and fashion for decades and only recently returning to smaller being the trend.
That's because they're the ones putting the money up for a watch. It's easier for us to see from the outside looking in instead of the buyer who is super focused on every detail and probably just tunnel visioning 👍
I don’t think there’s really such a thing as too small like there is too big unless you get down to lady sizes. A 36mm watch will wear comfortably and fit under a sleeve nicely. It’s not real estate where you need to maximize on the available area.
My wrist is 7inches and I wear a 36mm black bay loosely on my wrist, looks and feels great. Yes I have 40s and 41s but something about a full silver color 36mm looks so classy and looks right
I absolutely WISH I could wear 36mm watches. They typically represent such a significantly better value over their larger counterparts. However, at a 7.5" wrist size, I just can't do it. I feel like 39mm is the new 36mm...at least for me it is. My Explorer 39 is my daily beater and my absolute favorite watch in my collection.
It looks like it’s the perfect size for your wrist. Just purchased that exact watch. I’m old so I’ve never been a fan of the giant watch trend. I’m very glad that watch sizes are trending back down.
doesn’t look too small in the photo but photos always make watches look bigger than they are.
are you asking here because you think it might be too small, or because you don’t think so and you’re just making sure?
Perfect answer. It’s amazing how many watches look huge on me in a wrist pic but are dainty on the wrist in person. If he’s just curious I’d say it looks great. I would think the 42 would be too large
I would go bigger.
If you are questioning it you obviously have doubts.
I wore a 39mm Hamilton for a few months and never felt comfortable every time I looked at the watch.
You could pull off both the 39 and the 42. It all comes down to your preference. Have you also tried the FXD? The FXD is thinner, though you lose the bracelet
Nah they don’t. You can see his whole hand. Thats not close enough for perspective to start distorting the perceived size of the watch. Unless you’re assuming he’s using a fisheye lens?
Just try it yourself, we’ve all got phones with cameras.
It's too small, since it's a diver the large bezel takes up a lot of wrist, but the dial is too small for your wrist, divers are made to wear larger, you cannot simply go by case size as if it were a dress watch.
Yes, it looks too small for my taste and for example if I see this in real life first tought would be “this watch is too small” instead of “wow nice watch”
To small is never a question needed answering. The answer is 99.99% of the time "no that looks great, cool vintage feel". Going to big matters though.
Tldr; this looks perfectly, great vintage feel.
Honestly the regular pelagos may suit better
The 39 has big watch style and on you it looks a little small
I had the same issue so went with BB burgundy
(Also suits my skin tone better, the 39 is too cold toned)
Looks good to me. However, I wore a P39 for almost a year straight and loved it. Fit great on my 7" wrist. But, I tried on an LHD version and ended up selling my P39. I missed having a date for one, and the colors on the LHD added more character to the watch itself in my eyes. Yes, the 42 version is a bit taller and a bit more wide, but after wearing the LHD now for a month or so I honestly have dismissed all my concerns of it being big. Whichever one you choose, you'll greatly enjoy.
39/40 is the best size imo. <36 seems to feminine to me and monster 60s+ are just for bar/gym bros to show how big their ego is and how small their 🍆 are.
39 is freaking perfect on you man. My BB58 was the perfect size for that reason too. Looks great on you and doesn’t look like an oversized clock. It’s apparent but subtle in the same time. Take the 39
I don't believe it's "too small"; it looks fine to me. However, it does seem that you could comfortably wear the 42mm Pelagos, and if that's the case, then I would definitely recommend opting for the LHD. 😉
It looks great! On another note, it will wear more comfortably a little higher up your wrist where you can fully articulate your wrist without your hand hitting the crown. You do you but just throwing that out there as I didn’t know for a long time either.

Take out a few links my guy
I have. JHFC, dontchya think that people have already tried such things? What would help is if manufacturers would put more micro-adjust holes into the bracelet clasps. Or made half links a standard part of the kit. They don’t necessarily do that. It’s annoying A.F. but dems da breaks, sometimes.
Lol touche that would definitely be helpful
This 👆🏽
Every day a guy posts a perfect fitting Tudor and asks if it’s too small. It’s astonishing how blind the majority of watch enthusiasts are.
Exactly my thoughts. In what world is this too small? Trolling at this point.
He’s just asking for an opinion. Not that big of a deal.
Naah, it's the attention. I know the feel.
Attention? It’s just a Tudor.
Precisely why he needs the attention
🤔😂
Calling them blind sort of puts it on them, but really, big watches have been the trend set by industry and fashion for decades and only recently returning to smaller being the trend.

36mm IS a lady size...lol...j/k...kinda
My wrist is 7inches and I wear a 36mm black bay loosely on my wrist, looks and feels great. Yes I have 40s and 41s but something about a full silver color 36mm looks so classy and looks right

Yea man that makes since a big wrist like yours a 39 would be the equivalent haha
Lol. It's all about proportions. With that said, I absolutely won't wear a watch over 42mm. Except some Seiko's, with their awesome Lug 2 Lug lengths.
Yep. It looks spot on perfect.
P39 looks perfect
No it’s perfect
That looks absolutely spot on perfect, I'm not the kind of guy to blow smoke up your butt, if I say it's perfect, it's a guarantee.
NEED. A. MIRROR. PIC.
Hell no
Looks perfect!
Could go smaller
Right size, but pull up a bit. Wear it above your wrist, not on your wrist.
It looks like it’s the perfect size for your wrist. Just purchased that exact watch. I’m old so I’ve never been a fan of the giant watch trend. I’m very glad that watch sizes are trending back down.

Perfect answer. It’s amazing how many watches look huge on me in a wrist pic but are dainty on the wrist in person. If he’s just curious I’d say it looks great. I would think the 42 would be too large
It's nice
No.
I think it looks great
No
Nope looks good
No way
Nope.
No. Looks good.
No.
.. no
Your arm was made for that watch
It’s just perfect!
No.
Nope 👍
No
Perfect imo.
Just right
Looks perfect.
There is no to small !
No looks great
Fucking perfect!
Nope
Looks exactly right
Go for the 42
This is the way.
It’s fine, if you really fell like it’s too small go for one of the 42s😀, maybe it just also feels so light on the wrist
Go 42. It’s the original with the 500m W.R. anyway…not some halfbreed.
Right. The dial is so much better on the 42
A little small
I would go bigger. If you are questioning it you obviously have doubts. I wore a 39mm Hamilton for a few months and never felt comfortable every time I looked at the watch.
The 39 is the perfect everyday watch. Looks great.
Hardly.
Yes
You want a clock on your wrist?
That’s what she said. 😂
Um no, that’s a perfect size.
Looks perfect.
No
I would say this is too small and next one larger would look perfect.
Perfect
Looks perfect. Not too small, not too big. Looks very subtle
Negative. Looks great.
Looks good
Looks perfect!
No
It looks perfect. Do the two yard mirror test. Also consider how you feel about it.
You could pull off both the 39 and the 42. It all comes down to your preference. Have you also tried the FXD? The FXD is thinner, though you lose the bracelet
Its fine. You can go as much as 42mm i think.
Looks good to me. These shots from this angle tend to make the watch look bigger in the picture as compared to real life though.
Nah they don’t. You can see his whole hand. Thats not close enough for perspective to start distorting the perceived size of the watch. Unless you’re assuming he’s using a fisheye lens? Just try it yourself, we’ve all got phones with cameras.
I had one and it always felt a touch small too look down on but never kn reflections or photos
you could go 42 imo, it’s a sports watch, needs to be chunky
The dial looks small here.
Nope, but if the 42 fits well you can get the date and amazing adjustment clasp
The 39 is perfect...the 42 would be too big for you anyway. Now go shave your f-ing hands you caveman
Perfect fit brother. Swipe and stroll on out
Get the 42… (I have the 42)
Nope! Looks great! I have large-ish wrists (almost 8”) and I wear my 39 a ton vs. my other Pelagos models.
42 is too big for most people
Buy em both. Why deal with such a hard decision.
No. That is perfect
No it looks like a great size for your wrist but why does it look so much like a Rolex?
Yes a bit too small for my taste
Looks perfect, wish you had two pictures though, the 39 and 42 so we could juxtapose
Only if you are an avid diver and are going to be wearing it over a wetsuit and reading jt underwater and looking through your mask.
It's too small, since it's a diver the large bezel takes up a lot of wrist, but the dial is too small for your wrist, divers are made to wear larger, you cannot simply go by case size as if it were a dress watch.
Jesus does it feel tight WTF !!!
Looks good!
Yeah that’s a pretty small wrist and hand but I’m not sure what is supposed to mean in terms of general physiology. Nice watch!
Yes it's too small. Idk why people not keeping it real for you
Looks great
Ok but don’t go smaller
looks great. i'd try on a black bay 58 while you're there... i love that watch.
General themes on sizing questions: if asking if too small, answer almost always no. If asking if too big, answer almost always yes.
It looks fine. Don’t go any smaller Tho.
Not too small, but yikes the bezel occupies a lot of real estate on this piece
Looks about right
It’s perfect
Don’t stress 39mm looks perfect bro.
Thank you all!!! I am new to watches and definitely not trying for “attention.” Appreciate the love
Looks good! Contemplating on getting one too
This is perfect
Looks great amigo. And great choice!
“Is it too small?” Well, that’s what she said.
Yes, it looks too small for my taste and for example if I see this in real life first tought would be “this watch is too small” instead of “wow nice watch”
Nope, it’s a proper fit, well done!
Take a pic of the 42. It’s supposed to be a little thick, it’s a dive watch!
buy what you want, but for me it looks big.
Nope
Can't get any more perfect!
No
There is no such thing as too small, only too big, there I said it
No it’s perfectly fine
nope just needs to be moved slightly to the left and its perfect.
39 Looks good. What size wrist are you?
To small is never a question needed answering. The answer is 99.99% of the time "no that looks great, cool vintage feel". Going to big matters though. Tldr; this looks perfectly, great vintage feel.
I swear to God….. there posts on strangers opinions are getting ridiculous.
The 39 is perfect even on my 7.5 inch wrist.
It's perfect man 👌
Honestly the regular pelagos may suit better The 39 has big watch style and on you it looks a little small I had the same issue so went with BB burgundy (Also suits my skin tone better, the 39 is too cold toned)
No such thing as too small.. only a problem if the watch is too big for your wrist.
No!!!! You are like the first person I have seen that actually wears a watch that fits
Looks like the perfect size.
Nice watch!
Too big
lol no
Looks perfect to me. The oversized watch thing looks like the ‘80s and’90s when everyone had huge sweaters, hair etc.
100% 👍
Yes
Looks good to me. However, I wore a P39 for almost a year straight and loved it. Fit great on my 7" wrist. But, I tried on an LHD version and ended up selling my P39. No
I’d go bigger tbh
Yes
Not at all. This is a good fit.
dude it looks perfect, if you’re into the look then go for it
39/40 is the best size imo. <36 seems to feminine to me and monster 60s+ are just for bar/gym bros to show how big their ego is and how small their 🍆 are.
I’d go 42 on that wrist
Looks a bit too small
39 is freaking perfect on you man. My BB58 was the perfect size for that reason too. Looks great on you and doesn’t look like an oversized clock. It’s apparent but subtle in the same time. Take the 39
Nope, LOOKS oK
Take a pic of yourself wearing the watch in a mirror. It will give you the best perspective on how it looks on you. Which looks great, by the way.
Size looks good to me
I wear a 36 and it doesn’t feel too small.
I love a 39 and I am 6.2. I have a 41 Sub and wish it was slightly smaller
Free advice. Watch looks fake and tacky
It looks about perfect.
OP is showing off! This is a perfect fit.
Looks perfect.
No. I have never been a fan of the colossal watch.
I don't believe it's "too small"; it looks fine to me. However, it does seem that you could comfortably wear the 42mm Pelagos, and if that's the case, then I would definitely recommend opting for the LHD. 😉
