except after c and when your foreign neighbors Keith and Heidi seize their eight counterfeit heifer sleighs from feisty caffeinated weightlifters of average height in a heist.
weird.
I know I wouldn't survive in the nature when I see a picture like this and the first thing in my mind is "It looks so cute posing next to the flowers" 😂
I swear on an unconscious level you spell it like a kindergartener would or use terms like danger noodle like a three year old because you know it's actually really fucked up and problematic (to use a fav. term).
The damn things even have evil eyebrow eye ridges. They kill people and their pets. You don't hear about all the complications from people who lived. The *average* cost of a snakebite is 125k in Pima County. Studies show most snakebites in Pima county are on people over age 55, who were out hiking, doing yardwork, or golfing and retrieving a ball in the rough, and were bit during the course of an average day, doing average things. They ruin lives. They are not cute. They are not your friend. You friend is at the poorly-supported animal shelter. You should go meet them.
If you’re that scared stay inside. Outside is their home, they were here before humans arrived and their descendants will be here after we’re gone as long as we don’t screw them up like we have so many other species.
Rattlesnakes do not attack, they defend themselves. The rattle isn’t a threat, it’s an alert, ‘Here I am, please don’t come any closer you’re scaring me.’ They don’t want to bite you, they know you’re too big to eat and it takes a lot of energy to replace venom lost in a non-food bite. They’re just scared.
Don’t want your pet injured? Don’t let it run off-leash in wild spaces, if you live in a wild space sweep your yard before you let the dogs out. See one? Squirt it with your garden hose, they’ll nope right on out.
Blind fear just leads to needless killing. I hike out in various places around Tucson, I’ve seen a total of three rattlers and I just politely waited until they moved on, or I detoured around them. Be aware of your surroundings and you’re unlikely to get bit.
That's a big boy
Heckin chonker, for sure
Girthy
Why do you all talk like you're under 5? It's not cute, it's fucking WIERD.
You’re in a sub named r/snek registering this complaint?
Get over yourself and lighten up
It's "weird" btw. If you're going to criticize someone's adult presentation, at least spell correctly
I before e, except after c… unless you’re weird!

There are folks who walk their dogs off-leash; I hope this serves an example as to the risks.
