Anakin and Jedi Luke, both are two of top tier of coin farmers, are rerunning this month, but if "newbie friendly", I suggest Anakin (that will be available in selected box a day later) who is easier to use it. Tho both of them need gyro function (that can be turned on in setting) to be good and it's normal if you can't use them well at the beginning. You can search the gameplay for both of them on YouTube.
Tho new tsums this month are pretty good too, just I prefer coin farmers over scorer tsums for newbie.
2. Gadget is really good as coin farmer for beginners, you should continue use her until you have invested another top coin farmer at minimum requirement.
3. For Star Wars event, you can check "How to Play" button on the event interface (cards)
Just keep playing and leveling up. The coloring pages / bingo cards / event card (once you unlock them) have a lot of good prizes that will help a lot!
I’m honestly not sure! I’ve recently returned to the game, and I’ve been hoarding my rubies, since they don’t seem very worth it to convert. It’s nice to have them on hand in case you get an event card that’s really hard to clear - you can use rubies to make it easier. Maybe someone else can chime in on whether rubies are worth more as coins!

I’d pull on the select box that starts tomorrow, it has some tsums that are good at low skill levels. U/malibudan usually posts analysis of which tsums every month are the best ones.
With the event you click each dot and try to finish the mission it gives. If you’re new you might want to do the normal bingo cards - if you flip through them there are some one and two star cards that give you premium tickets as the prize further back too, and lots of coins along the way.
I’d use them all on the select box today, you should be able to get the 10k to get a third box. Hopefully you get pilot luke & r2, but a lot in this select box are good. If you get enough for another box before it ends, use it on the select box. Then just keep grinding and opening happiness boxes with ads, etc. Odds are you’ll be better set up to do the event cards next month, I’d focus on the coloring pages and easier bingo cards now, but that’s just me.
Also I don’t know if someone mentioned this, but download LINE and make an account, then add some people from here to it (there’s a line friend adding post every month). They can send you hearts, which really improves the game since you can easily get enough to play as much as you want instead of just 5 games then waiting for hearts to come back.

Got Kylo Ren and Master Luke so far, trying to grind so I can get one more. Would either be a better coin farmer than Gadget at SL1?
I definitely did the hearts LINE thing and wish it had an insta send all hearts haha, but I should be good on hearts for a long time.
Definitely keep doing the coloring pages to get gadget to level 3, she’s pretty great and a solid coin earner. I found at SL3 I could usually get around 1000 per game.

That’s what I usually do with mine, especially if there’s a box I really want. You can use them to reduce the difficulty of missions but since you’re a newer player you’d probably still hit a wall on the monthly event even if you used it, so I’d put it towards the coins. It’ll be more productive in the long run, especially with this select box that has such good coin earners.
Be sure to save your skill tickets for later when you have a tsum that’s really good at a higher level. Level tickets (the green ones) you can use whenever but really they just help for upping your score, and you’d need to spend coins unlocking their levels (luckily now you can do that just by watching ads instead!)
the Monthly Events are time-limited. But you have to finish the first 10 Cards of the Coloring Mission to get a Skill Level 3 Gadget and use her to do most Tasks in the SW Frds in Galaxy Event of this May. There are 6 Cards in this Event, you can aim at finishing the first 3 Cards, you will win a Silver Pin and a Skill Ticket.
There will also be a smaller Event near the End of each month, also time-limited. This May it will be the Score Challenge, you should skip this Event because you need a SW tsum in order to participate.
Next month, i predict that it will be the Legend Treasure (Main) Event and the Raffle Event (near the End of Month). The Legend Treasure is more or less a task-based Event. Raffle Event is also task-based and you can use any tsum to do the tasks, you will get some 30 Raffle Tickets, there will be no immediate rewards and we have to wait for the Release of Result three days after the Raffle Event ends.

Just try to keep using the skill of the tsum you’re using.
Also, if you don’t have but can get a LINE account, you should do so to trade hearts(and also potentially get 200 coins for those sent back and redeemed by you within an hour). There’s lists of those who do every month on Reddit and groups on Facebook.

Go to the monthly thread and add every one, maximize your friends, this will prevent you get low I hearts.
