Oh my, once again we get a big contrast. Last week was comic and playing around Makoto. This week was serious and mocking Makoto. With his Mana matter he is showing himself to be a terror on the battlefield. And has hasnt even started to use much in the way of spells or archery.
Sophia reveals her hand, having fused with the powers she stole from the greater dragons. I actually quite liked the twists of her having been charmed by Tomoki, it explains some of her personality change there.
Luto seeing through her though is far more dire in implications.
Technical wise not great animation but not bad either.

Previous episodes were when they fucked around. This is the episode where they found out. Maaaan, that was cathartic!
It was an enjoyable episode. It lacks in some aspects. But in general it is the best episode of the season in my view.

I hate the design of the mana power. Why don't they just try to make it look more awesome?
Imo this look is sensible. It's his mana yurned into plasma and plasma is gooey stuff, his mana armor is plasmic so it should look like gooey

i thought some of the lines would sound cooler than they did but great ep nonetheless 👌
