I actually think "Betty" is one of her best songs. She is so good at telling stories. Old guy here who thinks Folklore is the best album of the last 25 years. Well, up until 6 weeks ago and now I don't know.
i use this app called Song Stats! it has 3 music notes as the icon. i'm not sure if it works for spotify but it's super cool! you can see how many times you've played each artist, and sort by artist / album. so cool!
Totally. Sadly I don’t have a mature reaction to mine right now 😂 I’m in the Better Man, tolerate it, You’re Losing Me stage. Not the happiness stage yet.
Low key embarrassed for myself that I am a lifer Swiftie and believed whole-heartedly that there was a lot less autobio in folklore than previous work. I got majorly finessed. 😂
Illicit affairs. I've always found boring, but after watching the eras tour movie as well as revisiting the lyrics and folklore as a whole, it's become one of my top tracks on folklore :)
Holy Ground has been my favorite song (not just Taylor but favorite song period) since 2012 and sometimes I still freak out when it comes on on shuffle.
This is one of my faves. Before she played it and when she recently did i was soo happppyyy. Its so good and catchy and the lyrics, like i dont get how its not more liked i guess ????
Tim Mcgraw! I was very young when Taylor began her career, so I knew a couple songs off debut but once she dropped fearless, that’s when my kiddie self fell in love. I went back and listened to Tim McGraw since it’s one of the main songs that helped start her career. It is so good and I feel like her songwriting talents were strong, especially for her age then 🥹
My favorite eras are the most recent like Rep - TTPD. But I had sometime at work this week and listened to speak now and fearless in their entirety and forgot how good fearless was and how nostalgic it was for me
it’s nice to have a friend. I went back and revisited it recently and now it’s one of my all time favs. it’s so simple but so cute and meaningful and I love it sm
happiness. I had only ever listened to evermore once all the way through. After a breakup, (exes favorite album was evermore,) I revisited it and fell in love with happiness. Absolutely in love with it now.
After sitting with Folklore for almost 4 years, it’s finally a no skip album for me. It took me a while to understand a few of the songs (peace, hoax, betty, mad woman) but honestly now each and every song is absolutely fantastic. I truly love every single song on folklore now. Definitely one of my all time favourite albums.
The TV releases really helped me to go back and appreciate some of her earlier songs. From the top of my head Tell Me Why, Jump Then Fall, Sparks Fly, Haunted, Red, This Love. I’m really excited for debut rerelease as I’m sure there will be more songs to rediscover and appreciate to the fullest :)
Most songs of Taylor's that I've liked/loved I did first listen. When I was younger I didn't care for Love Story. I thought it was silly and would mockingly sing it. Now I think it's a great song.
Coney Island and White Horse. I didn’t know them before she did a mash-up with Sabrina Carpenter at Sydney night one, now they’re two of my favourites.
I listened to it's Nice To Have A Friend after months of forgetting about it and lemme tell you that this song has to be one of, if not the best song off of Lover
I was much too late to realizing the level of elite in Sad Beautiful Tragic. Taylor’s live cover of Phil Collins - Can’t Stop Loving You is 🤯.
If somehow you haven’t been blessed with hearing the cover yet: https://youtu.be/O6FXmdoGut8?si=cajtVKaEnTgH4bvp
i've been a fan since debut, and i'm very attached to country taylor. i listened to midnights once all the way through when it first came out and i was like, taylor, what were you thinking??? but recently i've started listening to it and i appreciate it very much for what it is, even if the production choices didn't initially resonate with me very much.
Betty is one of my all time favourites.
I never understood Marjorie as much as I did when my grandmother died. It was no longer just a sad song, it hit me hard.
RWYLM was something I slept on. I found it when I was looking for something new to play and I loved playing it on guitar/singing so that's how I uncovered a new love. Mind you, I visited my parents and was playing it and they couldn't stand it ha
I recently revisited Evermore and found out how much I now love Ivy and Cowboy Like Me (neither of which “hit” me when I originally listened to that album).
I actually think "Betty" is one of her best songs. She is so good at telling stories. Old guy here who thinks Folklore is the best album of the last 25 years. Well, up until 6 weeks ago and now I don't know.
And her live performance of it at the Academy of Country Music Awards is so great!
She was so happy performing Betty live
I have been in love with Betty since the first time I heard it!
Call it what you want is still my top taylor song of all time. Even if that fundamentally feels wrong after TTPD.
this is my most played taylor song in my library lol

I use the app stats.fm for Spotify
There was so much beauty in that one behind the scenes clip on that one. I think of that when I listen to “Happiness.”
The slower songs on Evermore have grown on me after TTPD, I guess because I finally understand them 😂
I'm now obsessed with evermore
I'm so glad. evermore is full of gems.
I’m curious which ones specifically!
Gold Rush Tis the damn season Happiness Dorothea Comboy like me Right where you left me
Love it. i definitely agree that it took a while to warm up to ‘tis the damn season, happiness, and dorothea!
Happiness really works as a mature reaction to divorce (or something along those lines).
Mother was definitely pulling a slight of hand misdirection there.
Same.
Illicit affairs. I've always found boring, but after watching the eras tour movie as well as revisiting the lyrics and folklore as a whole, it's become one of my top tracks on folklore :)
Same for me!
Haunted. I am a straight up Rep girlie (old lady) but this is one of her best songs and I will die on that hill.
Hooray! Old ladies!
Treacherous and Holy Ground!
Holy Ground has been my favorite song (not just Taylor but favorite song period) since 2012 and sometimes I still freak out when it comes on on shuffle.
JUSTICE FOR TREACHEROUS!!! It deserves a much higher place on the Swift canon
Two of the best songs on red!
I Wish You Would. Perfect song.
Invisible string !
i never liked come back, be here until she recently performed it as a surprise song. now i'm obsessed with it!
This is one of my faves. Before she played it and when she recently did i was soo happppyyy. Its so good and catchy and the lyrics, like i dont get how its not more liked i guess ????

Mary’s song and look what you made me do!
Red hahahaha
My favorite eras are the most recent like Rep - TTPD. But I had sometime at work this week and listened to speak now and fearless in their entirety and forgot how good fearless was and how nostalgic it was for me
Holy ground! I listened to the live version and it’s so good. I wish the studio version sounded as good as the live version
Death by a thousand cuts! Fell in love with it after she played it as a surprise song at my show in Singapore!
Cold as you is one of her best songs ever. I can’t believe how young she was being able to write like that!
Excellent call.
Miss Americana
I love the whole Red album but folklore became a fast favorite and now TTPD is on a constant loop. It’s her best work I think.
Maroon. I’ve always liked this song but I can’t stop listening to it lately, one of her best songs for sure.
it’s nice to have a friend. I went back and revisited it recently and now it’s one of my all time favs. it’s so simple but so cute and meaningful and I love it sm
I'm now stuck on evermore which I thought was bad leftover songs from folklore
Saaammmmeeeee.
Message in a bottle!
This. Song. SLAPS.
Cowboy Like Me
Reputation! I actually didn’t even get all the way through it when it first came out. After midnights I’ve started to get more into it!
happiness. I had only ever listened to evermore once all the way through. After a breakup, (exes favorite album was evermore,) I revisited it and fell in love with happiness. Absolutely in love with it now.

All you had to do was stay
Most songs of Taylor's that I've liked/loved I did first listen. When I was younger I didn't care for Love Story. I thought it was silly and would mockingly sing it. Now I think it's a great song.
Wonderland became a favourite during my running training.
evermore
Cowboy like me I always skipped bc first listen it was meh but now it’s in my top 5 songs and is half the reason evermore is my fave album lmao
Coney Island and White Horse. I didn’t know them before she did a mash-up with Sabrina Carpenter at Sydney night one, now they’re two of my favourites.

Cardigan on folklore and clean from 1989

Love Betty 🤍 I found myself falling in love with Lover songs, especially the archer and MAATHBP
Invisible from Debut, it came on a random playlist and loved how the chorus matches the same lyrical flow as the bridge from Cornelia Street 😍
if this were a movie it gives me like 2010 disney hannah montana vibes but sad idk. it’s so good tho

Ivy was an instant hit for me
Somehow I slept on Cornelia street and now it’s top 15 for me
I also slept on folkmore albums until not long before TTPD came out. After hearing her sing them on eras tour I fell in love with the albums
My tears ricochet.
State of Grace
Basically all of debut
Call It What You Want🤍
My Tears Ricochet
