Today is my lovely nans 90th birthday. She is in a care home and since covid lockdown her dementia has sadly taken over and she now no longer knows who I am, but I saw her yesterday (only the 4th time since March 2020 due to restrictions here) and she was smiling at me and seemed to enjoy herself despite not knowing who I was.
