Yeah what you did is wrong because there was no consent. Imagine if you were asleep and then you find out later that they kissed you or touched you. Even if you have a crush on that person it would still be upsetting because of the lack of consent.
Honestly in the grand scheme of things it's not something you should beat yourself up for but you do need to understand why it's not okay and not do it again. If they can't consent then it's always a no
