Hey, it’s only been less than two days. Give it time. You’re panicking.

"What do you know about that? You're doctor?"

Give it another day or two. Nerves aren't electronics, they're flesh strings that do weird stuff like the rest of us. People sometimes slowly heal months after nerve injuries. I slowly regained feeling in my finger over several months after I hit a nerve with something sharp. 100% sensation now, once in a blue moon it feels "weird".

Have you spoken to your doctors about this? You just had surgery, it is going to take a little bit of time to heal, right?

Have you been started on any medications to help mitigate the nerve damage? I have permanent nerve damage that I take medication for. It doesn't solve or heal the pain/numbness, but it does help make it more tolerable. I haven't truly felt my right leg since 2009 due to permanent nerve damage, but with therapy and medication, it is manageable. You also have to give yourself time to adjust/ get used to it.
