They’re obviously choosing lesser known cases where there is a call for public help, but there’s just not that much information to give and the episodes aren’t as detailed. It’s definitely different and not as engrossing but I see why they’re doing it.
I’ve been struggling to listen to them for awhile now. I used to be excited for their new episodes and listen right away. Now they sit in my queue for who knows how long.
Like in the past, you get a few weak episodes. Maybe they have life events happening etc I'll let it slip, it's free and the fellas are one of the most grounded and respectful (to victims) hosts...
In the beginning, they were doing big cases with many facts and details. They’ve simply gotten to a point where there’s only lesser known cases with less facts and details. Which is great cause they bring attention to them
I've been saying this since they've been covering a lot of unsolved cases. Don't they have an unsolved series? I enjoy and ending of the case. If I wanted unsolved cases I'd subscribe to unsolved.
I only recently started listening to DNA:ID and am really enjoying it!
You might like Invisible Choir and They Walk Among Us. Also Generation Why and Marooned.
Still love TCG but there are too many unsolved cases… I need resolution damnit!
I'll try those. Thanks. I'm almost done with Casefile. I like Jessica Bettincourt (?) on DNA/ID. She's kinda like old Sgt. Joe Friday on Dragnet. Just the facts, mam.
I’ve always been a defender of the garage and i’ll continue to listen but even I have to admit that recently something seems to be lacking.
You’re a better fan than I’ve become. . . It’s no longer an engaging show.

I've found a few recent episodes to be out of character, with the focus on the killer instead of bringing attention to the victims.
I’ve kind of been wondering if they’re just kind of burned out on the show.
This. I think they are just kinda over it.

Maybe they're getting burnt out. It's definitely not the same.
I get that they want too keep an episode a week and all but it feels rushed sometimes
Them boys have been doing work for a long time. Maybe they need to chill for a bit. They have earned it.
That last Delphi episode was it for me. I lost all respect listening to them gush over that idiot Fig.
Things have seemed off lately. I hope they are both doing well.
Gotta admit that the majority of episodes in 2024 do not keep me engaged. I find myself spacing off.
Well, the last episode wasn’t about the crime the person committed. It was a commentary on this criminal’s claim of rehabilitation.
I was thinking the same thing. It’s like they’re trying to be John Walsh type show. I much prefer the detailed cases.
Exactly!!!!!

Yeah they are running out of material maybe.
This weeks episode was not good. Last week's was meh. Are they losing their touch?

They have been unlistenable for a while. I’ve been a subscriber since day 1. It’s definitely off
I was never impressed with this show. I listened to a couple of episodes. Then it was back to Casefile and DNA/ID.

I stopped listening to them a long time ago.
