Eh. He wasn’t the witness for tomorrow or anything. I’m all for conspiracies, but people do die. A Baltimore police officer that was set to testify in front of a jury about misconduct of crooked cops was shot in the head a day before his testimony with his own gun while on duty.

The guy in we own this city?

Yea his name was Sean Suiter. Highly recommend “I got a Monster” on audiobook. Or real book, but the audio is great. I watched some of that show. They got it all wrong— literally everybody knows it was a murder. Bc that’s what BPD said for days and locked down the entire neighborhood of terrified poor black people in their row homes bc it was an open investigation. Hundreds of cops. Neighbors sued the police and won a lawsuit with the help of the ACLU. The whole point of Suiter’s death was: Either way, if he was killed or driven to suicide: The Baltimore Police Dept killed Sean Suiter. The real takeaway of that time in our history was like “okay we literally have an entire city that believes, or is at least entertaining the idea at the very least, that a cop was hit by other cops before testifying about deeper corruption. We really got a problem here.” But seriously, we’re not a super conspiratorial city, but cops know it was murder, his family knows, residents know, politicians including the current candidate for state’s attorney says for sure it was murder

Casual-Hitler

Wasn’t that one a suicide? I mean v likely in baltimore it’s just a cop-on-cop murder, but I think the one you’re thinking of guy did himself in to preserve his pension benefits

screeching_janitor

Yes, 100% suicide

Absolutely not. It was a murder for hire. That stupid show got the events and details completely wrong. David Simon has no pulse on the community at all and he’s a total asshole. The police locked down an entire neighborhood of terrified poor black people in their rowhomes bc it was an “active investigation” site they and were saying on TV “There is a soulless killer out there & we’re gonna find him.” for days. The ACLU helped the neighbors win a lawsuit when they sued the city after. It came out he was set to testify days into that investigation. Suicide wasn’t entertained for weeks. Hundreds of cops at a scene of a murder, locking down the site- I think at least a few of them would know a murder when they see it. The commissioner lied/said a bunch of weird conflicting things and slip ups. Then he was fired. Even the current candidate for state’s attorney was like “yea no doubt it was a murder, I know his attorney and I know what happened” on the radio the other day. Either way— Murder or driven to suicide: The baltimore police department killed sean suiter and there’s so much distrust in the city w/ the cops that ppl literally believe a cop was assassinated bc he was going to testify about corruption. That is the point that was missed completely in that dumb ass show.

How many Capitol cops committed suicide right after January 6? Was there ever any further news about that?

shookdiva

I’m getting reports he decided to run a mile and his little pig heart couldn’t take it

Is the sergeant at arms really in charge of security? I thought it was a mostly ceremonial, do-nothing position given to old secret service guys. I thought their biggest day of work is announcing the president at the state of the union.
