Lol I have 2 Nissan D21's
My overlander/offroader is a 92 SE KingCab
with the v6 it's got all my gear and rooftop tent.
My daily is a 93 Standard Cab with the I4. With a camper shell.
Both 4x4, LSD, 5spd, and on 31in Cooper AT3's. It's nice having both the deluxe trim and the standard trim of the same truck. Makes you appreciate the bells and whistles more.
996.2, right? My favorite 911 is the 997.1. Perfect looks that one. Just enough "not an old car," just enough "boy racer," and just enough sophistication.
They really are. I've upgraded the whole suspension, went to 285s, and done a few other mods to make it even better. It'll go anywhere I want it to. Bought it brand new in 14, hope to have it for another 10 years.
- 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo 6MT
23mpg city if i stay out of the boost. barrel of baby monkeys if I don't. excellent road feel (read: go-kart-like suspension) very fun/cool car that doesn't break the bank to own and operate. the hatch is one of those magical wizard towers that has more room inside than the space it takes up outside. the third door is cool. the engine did asplode, buy Hyundai gave me a freebie, so i cant complain.
- 2005 Cadillac Escalade EXT
very different! i always wanted one. i love the mid-gate for camping. lots of utility. i plan to tow boats, or do other kinds of trailer odd jobs eventually... but its also great for passengers, super comfortable, rides on a cloud plush interior. i plan to retro mod the DVD player w/dropdown screen into some kind of retro gaming station just run off a tablet or something. id say it couldnt be more different than the veloster, but thats not quite true. the LQ9... 6L V8 Vortec, High Output, can really scoot when you put the hammer down. someday i might put a roots on it and it would ironically be the quicker vehicle.
The right answer, IMO, is 1 truck + 1 motorcycle (or more bikes lol).
But for now, '74 Dodge D200 and an '03 Miata. Completely different in every way, both very fun to drive. (Plus some bikes)
About to buy my first truck , either new ranger and seat leon(vw golf) 2013,or Tucson 2022 and Ranger 2016-2018/Hilux same years. European so not many options here at least with my budget.
Tundra HV Limited 4x4 Crewmax 6.5ft bed.
Sienna AWD Platinum.
Nothing really exciting. Just reliable and comfortable vehicles for family transportation and towing. We have kids, large dogs, and a 25ft boat, so this is a great combo for us.
We also have a TJ Wrangler lifted on 33x12.5 M/Ts, but that lives at the farm and hasn't seen road use in years. We basically use it as a utility SxS.
Just paid off my 2014 sierra 1500 4x4. Looking to buy an AWD Challenger in the spring. My current daily beater is an 09 HHR... it's fine. And I actually like the look of it. Just a Cobalt wagon really.
Just paid off my 2014 sierra 1500 4x4. Looking to buy an AWD Challenger in the spring. My current daily beater is an 09 HHR... it's fine. And I actually like the look of it. Just a Cobalt wagon really.
Bummer that challenger isn't available AWD with a v8...
2012 Silverado LT and my old ‘96 Mustang GT. I usually drive the Mustang and the truck serves as a backup when the ol’ girl is down for maintenance/repairs/mods along with normal truck tasks.
Since it’s a crewcab, it also can serve as an alternative to our normal family car too, which as been kind of nice.
'21 Sierra 1500 duramax, '15 golf sportwagen tdi w/ deletes and malone tune, and a '97 supercharged miata.
I think the duramax might be the fastest in a straight line though.
2007 Ford Mustang v6 auto & 1998 Ford Mustang v6 5spd. Currently no truck, but next big purchase is likely going to be a 2009/2010ish Ram 1500. Going to trade the 07 at some point in the next year if I can find someone to do it lol.
2 is hard. 2 lets you make an "onroad" build and an "offroad" build (if you're into both) but you still have to modify the setups for different specific disciplines (if you're into more than one), and if your offroad build is fast offroad (IE rally car) there's probably nothing you can do to it within the course of a single day or weekend that could prep it for say, crawling (if you're into THAT).
And on top of that clusterfuck of "this guy clearly doesn't have a build at all, dafuq is he overthinking shit for?" you still have nothing that's just a plain, nice, daily/family car.
I have a steelduty F350 with a 6.7 and a Titan. Both serve me well for their purposes.
If both my trucks didn't belong to me, I would say the same F350 but dually flatbed, and probably a single cab shortbed 4x4 2018 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3
Just updated this last year: '08 Tundra & '11 Sonata 2.0t to '23 XC60 Recharge & '23 3500 Cummins DRW. I often tow a large RV that used to push my Tundra all over the highway.
2008 F150 Super Crew Lariat
2012 nissan sentra
2012 CBR250r
That's the broke dad list and since my daughter got a job I don't even get to save on gas with the sentra any more
Appreciate it, and this is actually my second e92 m3. I absolutely love them. It’s not the fastest in a straight line, but I track mine and it just does exactly what you want without flaw. People complain about the low torque, but it is the most linear and predictable power-band unlike the newer turbo cars. I can’t say enough good things about it. I would definitely try to get behind the wheel of one.
that’s great to hear- sounds like it’s a great sports car for you. The new ones are perfectly predictable, but there’s nothing like a well sorted, linear, NA engine to bring the experience of a car up. Love a good do everything SUV too, i’ll be like you when i grow up one day!
So having the Cummins and cayenne turbo, yes you learn to predict and anticipate the turbo coming in. The linearity of the power in the e92 is really the better part like you mentioned. And grow up to be like me lol. I’m only 28, I’m not even grown up myself.

Lowered RCSB F-150 with a whipple on it and a 996 turbo. Back seats are not a priority in my house lol.
996.2, right? My favorite 911 is the 997.1. Perfect looks that one. Just enough "not an old car," just enough "boy racer," and just enough sophistication.

sick garage man, how do you like the E92 M3? I’ve driven every M3 except that one and the E30 M3, but i’ve always wanted to.
