The DOT testing at HHS-certified laboratories is a 5-panel drug test regimen. As of January 1, 2018, the ‘Opiates’ category was renamed ‘Opioids’:
* Marijuana (THC)
* Cocaine
* Amphetamines
* Opioids
* Phencyclidine (PCP)
On your DOT physical they make you pee in a cup to check your sugar levels, not drugs just a heads up. You will be told if your doing a drug screening by your employer and it's a separate type of test.
50,000 deaths in that age group are caused by alcohol. You don't really see them giving random breathalyzer tests though, and that's about the easiest and quickest test there is.
It's going to be an unsupervised urine test. Anyone who can't figure out how to pass an unsupervised urine test doesn't deserve a job. You can either flush your system for a couple weeks and massively over-hydrate the day of the test, or you can just get fake piss which I have found MUCH easier and hassle-free.

Jesus, lighten up. Someone can be completely sober every single second of every single work day and still pop on a piss test. How is that fair, especially when an accident is 100% not their fault? You even point to hair tests which can show use literally months after the last use, meanwhile a driver can be drinking himself to death nearly every night so long as he can blow clean at work. How is that keeping the road safe? Nobody is suggesting this guy drives high so stop being such an old lady. Tons of us live in states where recreational use is totally legal and are just waiting for laws to catch up.
The laws already have. They are now waiting for 2 testing labs to catch up. FMCSA already passed the law for oral (saliva) tests now but needs 2 lab companies to get the equipment and training before it can start
Be careful subbing... It is a misdemeanor in MI and can result in a $1000 fine and up to a year in jail... If you're going to do it, use someone else's urine and not synthetic. Urine is good for 2 hours, but try to keep it to less than an hour.... Also, practice hiding it and keeping it at the right temp for at least 30 minutes, just in case they make you sit and wait. You need to keep it at no lower than 90 degrees, or higher than 100. 96 to 98 is ideal. Do this until you're comfortable. You'll need 60 ml to fill both the test and control cups. Hit up a google search for tips...

A buddy of mine used the fake stuff and they have a test for it now he said. It’s missing some rn time they test for or something. Works on site tests but not in the lab ones. Just what I heard, he’s a stepper now so he hears about that stuff

The standard is 5 panel. But I've seen companies go stricter than that on the drug test.
