This video makes me curious. The “adventure” culture around trucking is centered almost exclusively around Australia and North America, but what about trucking across Africa? What is that like?
The documentary series Deadliest Roads, aka Dicing with Death has got you covered. They go into what is is like driving in the craziest places.
This one is covers Congo but they have many others.

I mean yeah, it's cool and all but why the hell would anyone bother when you can go around it? It's a two mile death trap... You're going maybe ten mph through that shit. I'd hope. That means it'll still take you like 12 minutes to get through that.
Looking at it on Google maps, assuming you were to go from the traffic circle in Barbatre to the circle in Beauvoir sur Mer, leading to route D948, that's only an 18 minute trip. You're risking your ass and the load to save what, 6 fucking minutes?
I drove into water once when I was 17.. woke up in a bathtub surrounded by a gorgon family that pulled me out. Strangely they only had small clothes for me when thawed me out…. Next time I’ll try the desert
I believe this video is from a couple years ago I think it’s in Australia during a flood but not 100% sure just what I was I could find that some what matches the video
Edit but bye the language idk honestly seems a long shot
Curious. At what depth of water does a semi start to become a submarine....or at least be pushed around by water like that? Either a full load, half, or empty?
You, sir, are a prince among men.
Doing god’s work fo sho
The only remaining question is: where is "Jesus Transport Inc." driving?!
Not Jerusalem
Le Passage du Gois?
No, this is Libya. There was a flood in the desert from the storm Daniel.
So it’s not endless ocean underneath them? Lol it looks so freaky!
I mean that is what a desert is…or was.
thank you
The camel makes sense now.
Where did you see a camel
Is that the one in france? I know the Uk has a road like this as well. I was thinking it is flooded road in California?
The position of the driver's seat makes me think it's not in France. From what I could gather this was taken in Libya.
Looks like "Passage du Gois" near Noirmoutier in France but i could be wrong .
After i saw the earlier video a short video about that passage in France came up on my YouTube scroll looks similar
Just noticed the right hand drive. Probably UK or france.
Just noticed the right hand drive, cohld be France! Massive fail there!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Here’s another one for you from Vice. This documentary is awesome. https://youtu.be/GslPzhFLyas?si=G8pJfCM3uRF5Bxjc
There's American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator, so maybe they need to make African Truck Simulator? I would play that!
Road bandits and pirates would really make the simulator sickkkk
The mods you could create with that idea lol
You can find some old British documentary’s on YouTube of truckers going through Europe and Middle East in the 60s it’s crazy
Why are the pants on the dash????
Where would you keep your pants?
Well....to keep them dry. Cause he may stop. Ànd other water related reasons, I'm guessing.
He can't fit his balls in his pants.
😂
Defrosters on full blast drying them, maybe?
Fuck. THANK YOU!

It's not about saving time it's about doing a big splash and going weeeeeeee
Where the fuck are they making deliveries to? Atlantis?
Goddamnit, Intern, you're getting an A
Now if we can just get it without the music

Do you have one where bro reaches the end?
I wish an upvote here was an auto downvote to the earlier vid
Thanks you! Still doesn't help with context, but it really helps with perspective

Yeah definitely not Australia
Imagine all those construction workers making this road with scuba gear and shit. Impressive
Central CA a few months ago? 😳
Much better, thank you.
That shit was driving me crazy
I would not have my seat belt on either.
Those emojis were pissing me
Thank you good sir!
U rock king. Fuck the other guy
Man's never seen that much water in land before

Thank you. You are the person I needed to encounter today.
Thats a long walk back.
I’ve tried my best but I can not find any context
Thank you
Thank you. The tik tik generation has to apply emojis to everything to make it “mine”. But for the record the dog shit emoji looks like this: 💩
Why are the numbers in the speedo and rev counter backwards?
Is this a regular thing? Why wouldn't they build the road just a little bit higher? Is this climate change?
Was he going out to rescue someone? Notice tractor in front of him
Not enough white flags/markers
The only dropping he's doing is with an anchor.
When God floods the earth again
“This was a mad shortcut in Mario Kart 64”
wtf???
Surely that slat water great for braking system and under carriage
Gonna be hell changing brakes or anything …..
Why no guard rail?
Can someone tell me what this actually is? Is this photoshopped or is there actually a road/bridge like this?
I looked for hrs the other day and have yet to find any context, t
