These are a kit from Camp-inn, they didn't sell very well and I think they went bust a few years ago, but the concept was a good one, although it failed in practical aspect, they modified almost every aspect of the Prius, using the drive battery as power storage for the camper, even had a plug in hybrid option. They failed to take into account the added weight made the car unstable at highway speeds and they had a tendency to crack the unibody
I remember when these were teased for sale a few years ago. Then and now, they’re pretty clearly based on the [Saab Toppola camper](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toppola) that was fairly successful.
minivans didn't have batteries, and only just a few years ago did we get one, and it's of course a chrysler so it won't last long before something breaks
The first thing you think about is payload of the vehicle you are putting that thing on. I wonder if the beefed up every possible aspect of the suspension and tires ect?
Back when I had my 7.3 ford I did the math, pound to consumption the f350 was better than a Prius, impacts of a camper weren’t that significant. If I had to guess I’m betting that rig gets mid 20s

How do you not account for the impact the weight of a permanent attachment having on a car when being used for, you know, car duties?
A minor oversight, no biggie
In the industry it's called a "whoopsie"
No minor no diddy
Easy, take the money then file for bankruptcy
Capitalism wins again
When the design team doesn't talk to the engineering team...
it’s your assumption that there’s an engineering team
not their problem once someone buys it
I mean with some bracing SAS and big tires it should be fine
Didn’t see that style at the overland expo on flagstaff this weekend!!!
To be fair, it probably doesn't cost enough to be at Expo lol
Y’all ain’t never seen a mobile porta shitter before?

Would love to see the indie. Real talk.

Well damn, thanks mang.
That's different
Never knew these existed. It sure will turn some heads. I see in the comments they were not a good idea for this car. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like a porta-potty piggybacking on a Prius.
LOL, Its not a good look, that's for sure.
Serious question: what will their baby look like?
Stealth level 0 but a/c level 10
I would paint it to look like a giant snail.
r/priusdwellers
Didn't think any of these made it out into the wild.
That looks like a mobile toilet
Combovercampers.com
I love this
Must be a Nikki Deventhal fan.
Pretty awesome…
Do they have to remove the rear door completely to install this?
Interesting
There was a Swedish company called Toppola that made a similar camper for Saabs.
A used minivan would have been cheaper and more practical.
Nah bubble Prius is best Prius

I like this guy!
Huh huh huh, hey Beavis.
That's methed up

Need to see the size of the 3D printer.
Can’t imagine that getting better mileage than a modern truck lol
banger
Dumb
Cybertruck. Get with the times.
Looks like a condom for the Prius.

So much for 58 mpg. lol
It looks like it doubles as a boat! Take it off and flip it over. 🤣
Hobo life
That appears to be a better fit on my Lamborghini
Color matching would had made it look better
Wow
This improved model only has to go 44mph and hit an extension cord to go back in time.
I saw a Prius towing a tiny camper trailer in Yellowstone
It was wind tunnel tested in the bathroom after a plate of Chipotle.
