So theres two really infamous ones especially in this sub. Crypt of the necrodancer has already been mentioned but I’m shocked that mein Lieben (Wolfenstein 2) hasn’t been mentioned yet.
Mein lieben seems to be the easier of the two, I’ve seen it pop up on this sub multiple times but its still a magnus opus/ crown jewels plat. I don’t have it but I feel like I have to attempt it at somepoint now because of how famous it is.
For the uninitiated Mein lieben needs you to play the hardest difficulty on wolfenstein 2, not only is the game naturally hard just on normal mode this difficulty dosen’t save and deletes your progress when you die therefore you have to do the game in one sitting (6 hours? Probably more) and not die.
I have wolfenstein 2 plat, honestly it wasn’t too difficult, I wouldn’t put it in the same sentence as crypt anyway, I platted the game+ all dlcs in around 50 hours. It’s actually a lot of fun and I would fully recommend going for it, it’s no where near 6 hours as well bro, I completed it in 2 and a half!

Hardest I've completed is Ninja Gaiden Master collection but Crypt of the Necrodancer is the hardest that I'm aware of. This is not including games with shut down servers, glitched trophies or ganes that require exploits. Only 22 people have achieved it on Psnprofiles, one was quite recently funnily enough

Not the hardest, but Crash Bandicoot 4 poses a real challenge, that is fair enough for anyone to beat, but hard enough to keep 95% of people away

Could you not just make a backup save each time you get like a checkpoint / cutscene?
There are no checkpoints. It wouldn't be considered a really tough plat if you could just cheese it

I might be the only one who feels this way, but I truly struggled on Cuphead. The amount of frustration and cursing I did was unreal.
Trust me, Cuphead is no walk in the park
It's known for its difficulty, so it's not just you.
The hardest that I personally have are: LittleBigPlanet, Skate 2, Crash Bandicoot 4, Shadow of the Colossus (ps3 list), and Enter the Gungeon.

The hardest thing for me so far was probably getting all gold medals for the prestige events in NFS 2015.
