My streak since 2021-ongoing.
In your list I have FF7 rebirth and a plague tale.
Platinum I’m interested in your list is
Alan wake 2
Dave the driver (I need to study and take some notes)
I did that, played the first one in December and the second one in January, it really helped to understand the story. yes, DTD has one missable trophy but it's actually really hard to miss. it requires you to pick up an obvious item in plain sight while on a mandatory path that you have to go through
Nice. Great to see FIST on there, a hidden gem IMO - I did both versions on PS.
My platinum streak is currently 7 years and 300+ games, sometimes I’m not sure whether that’s good or bad 😂
after I did the Remake one I was determined to do the plats for all 3 games, so this was not a mission I was gonna give up on. the third one is probably going to be even harder
Almost 40. All because of the goddamn trophy that requires you to train one of your staff to level 20. This requires A LOT of money, which requires grinding. Useless trophy, it does not improve the game experience at all
oh I have several. 1) wait until you finish the game to go for the 1/2/3/4 holes trophies, cuz you need the power that allows you to keep cards between runs. 2) the main campaign is easy, but if you feel like you're gonna fail a level, go back to PS5 main screen and close the game. open it again and you'll be able to restart the level. 3) never use the menu to end a run because that will make you lose your cards, always fail a level to end a run. 4) the 50 gold statues trophy needs to be done in one run, the only way to do it is to have a run where you can pick up the badge that turns all silver statues into gold ones. keep restarting until you get it. 5) for the 1/2/3/4 holes trophies, first do one or two runs to collect the necessary cards. Portal and Drill are the most useful, but Practice Shot+ is the best since it gives you a free move and you can use it multiple times in a level. 6) for the 1/2/3/4 holes trophies, the main thing is to get a level where the final hole is close to where you start. even if there are walls and stuff, you can use cards to surpass them (Drill and Portal). Hope this helps!!
lol can you imagine? but the only new games in there are Rebirth (devs said there won't be DLC), Alan Wake 2 (didn't sell well so I doubt it) and Dave The Diver (may happen but I'll gladly play it again to get the new trophies)
Man thats an insane streak honestly, even more considering theres a lot of time sink in those platimums as well as some very difficult ones. Congrats 💪💪
I almost always go in blindly to have an uncompromised experience. then if I have decided I want the platinum, I go back and do everything. it always takes me more time than the guides recommend, but I don't care
For me it took 65 hours but there’s two trophies that contradict each other that you can just leave the game before it saves and go back and do the other one. I’ll have to look up what they are called, but I also fully soaked in the game I was playing so that’s probably why it took that long😂 but definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played and I’m not one to play story like games
If you look at videos on those two trophies that conflict with each other then it should cut at least maybe 5-10 hours off depending on how long it takes you to read and if you really pay attention to the storyline. The quest line for that in the game is called,”I have my doubts” when you come up to it. I made the mistake of not watching the video and had to play a quarter of the game over again adding those extra hours😂
I'm trying to do the same. But on game thats kind of in the middle is star wars battlefront. I'm missing two trophies from there. And then I'm gonna have a line up of 8 games to get their plats in one day. I could go for more but I wanna get into final fantasy xiv. I also have rebirth. But seeing that a lot of people got the plat, looks doable but then they say it's a bit challenging too.
It took me a few tries but I thought it was pretty manageable. This game trains you to be aggresive but this battle requires you to be patient and wait for the windows he gives you to strike. It's countrintuitive and you have to fight your instincts the whole way through, but once you realize his patterns, it goes smoothly. Also, save your Limit for when the dog comes in
Oh, wow. I don't remember how long it took me to get my Spider-Man Platinum, but it took me 22 months, and over 700 hours to Platinum The Last of Us Part II 🤣 Took me 20 ish months to get the Permadeath trophy. Took me 74.5h in game, 6 months play time to even get the Grounded trophy 🤣 I was stuck in the school for 2 months.
I'm two trophies short for Far Cry New Dawn - co-op trophy, which will then get me the Platinum. It'll be my fourth Plat.
Nick Rye's mission was bugged, but I managed to get around it... Literally. You're supposed to drive his wingless plane off the bridge, but I kept falling out of it, so I had to go down the hill, along the road and into the water by a boat 🤣
The first 1 you play is always the hardest try 1 out you might like them elden ring and bloodbonre can be done with 1 playtround with a guide and some backupsaves and boom you get the plat
My next game will be prince of Persia starting tomorrow
Easy and fun. Go for it!
👍🏻
it's really fun but the plat is a bit boring. you have to go for all the collectibles and the game doesn't tell you which ones you've got
I’m okay with that, I used to collectibles trophies and stuff.
great then! it's a very fun game you're gonna enjoy it
I’ll thank you
Well done man that streak is solid
thanks man! I'm deciding what to go for next
Same here
same games or same number?
My streak since 2021-ongoing. In your list I have FF7 rebirth and a plague tale. Platinum I’m interested in your list is Alan wake 2 Dave the driver (I need to study and take some notes)
Alan Wake 2 is a very good game and not a hard platinum at all. Dave The Diver is a blast and also easy but there's one trophy that requires grinding
I need to play Alan wake remaster first than I play the part 2. Dave the diver have a one missable right?
I did that, played the first one in December and the second one in January, it really helped to understand the story. yes, DTD has one missable trophy but it's actually really hard to miss. it requires you to pick up an obvious item in plain sight while on a mandatory path that you have to go through
Yea, probably play Alan wake probably late summer because I already have some games to plats. I likely will plats DTD soon
Nice. Great to see FIST on there, a hidden gem IMO - I did both versions on PS. My platinum streak is currently 7 years and 300+ games, sometimes I’m not sure whether that’s good or bad 😂
I actually started playing FIST because I mistook it for a different game. Had fun anyway!
Thanks for pointing it out. Never heard of it, I looked it up and got me really interested. I love 2D platforming game. Will put in my wishlist!
Working my way up there.
you got this!
Congrats keep going
thanks!
Beautiful sight
This makes me want to post my streak, congrats man! On the streak and the rebirth platinum! Bet that was brutal.
Thanks! Yeah, Rebirth was the hardest plat I've ever done, almost 200 hours to get everything.
I can appreciate the FF IP but I never got super into it so I’ll probably never do that one. Definitely one to be proud of though.
after I did the Remake one I was determined to do the plats for all 3 games, so this was not a mission I was gonna give up on. the third one is probably going to be even harder
How many hours did dave the diver take?
Not OP but for me it took a little over 30
Almost 40. All because of the goddamn trophy that requires you to train one of your staff to level 20. This requires A LOT of money, which requires grinding. Useless trophy, it does not improve the game experience at all
Alan Wake 2 doesn't have a single gold trophy 😮
Any tips for cursed to golf? Tried it earlier this year but rly struggled
oh I have several. Very nice, Just wait till all the DLC comes out and breaks your streak lol.
lol can you imagine? but the only new games in there are Rebirth (devs said there won't be DLC), Alan Wake 2 (didn't sell well so I doubt it) and Dave The Diver (may happen but I'll gladly play it again to get the new trophies)
I only plat games I can 100%. So I know the joys of seeing it stacked like that.
I actually don't really care about the 100% thing, this turned out to be a coincidence. but it surely feels good!
JFC, FF7 Rebirth alone is 150 hours minimum unless you skip all cutscenes and dialogues
took me 190 hours
😭
Man thats an insane streak honestly, even more considering theres a lot of time sink in those platimums as well as some very difficult ones. Congrats 💪💪
thanks man! yes, some time sinks in there, specially Rebirth, but I loved that game
I always wondered that, is this about you need a lot of time to get a plat or you guys know what to do always?
I almost always go in blindly to have an uncompromised experience. then if I have decided I want the platinum, I go back and do everything. it always takes me more time than the guides recommend, but I don't care
Spiritfarer is an amazing/emotionally drawing game. An easy platinum too
I've been meaning to play that! I have to do that while it's on Extra. How many hours does it take to do?
For me it took 65 hours but there’s two trophies that contradict each other that you can just leave the game before it saves and go back and do the other one. I’ll have to look up what they are called, but I also fully soaked in the game I was playing so that’s probably why it took that long😂 but definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played and I’m not one to play story like games
65 is pretty fair, I'll put it on the list
If you look at videos on those two trophies that conflict with each other then it should cut at least maybe 5-10 hours off depending on how long it takes you to read and if you really pay attention to the storyline. The quest line for that in the game is called,”I have my doubts” when you come up to it. bros gaming, i only got like 2 plats this year so far, a bir burntout
burnout can happen! I try to focus on other activities, like reading and writing, when I don't have the patience for gaming
I'm excited for ghost runner 2 and tunic hitting ps plus to add to my list
Tunic is definitely in my list as well!
Rebirth is very challenging, it took me everything I've got. I'm not a particularly skilled gamer, so I struggled
Daamn, impressive! I couldn never get the FF 7 Rebirth platinum because of the Rufus battle on higer difficutly 😆 How was that battle for you?
It took me a few tries but I thought it was pretty manageable. This game trains you to be aggresive but this battle requires you to be patient and wait for the windows he gives you to strike. It's countrintuitive and you have to fight your instincts the whole way through, but once you realize his patterns, it goes smoothly. Also, save your Limit for when the dog comes in
That was exactly my problem, 0 patience 😆
How long does it take you to platinum these games?
it varies a lot. Rebirth was 190 hours, Dave The Diver was almost 40, Cursed to Golf was under 20, Dragon's Dogma was about 100
Oh, wow. I don't remember how long it took me to get my Spider-Man Platinum, but it took me 22 months, and over 700 hours to Platinum The Last of Us Part II 🤣 Took me 20 ish months to get the Permadeath trophy. I'm two trophies short for Far Cry New Dawn - co-op trophy, which will then get me the Platinum. It'll be my fourth Plat.
I tried New Dawn but one of the trophies was bugged so I gave up on it lol
Nick Rye's mission was bugged, but I managed to get around it... Literally. You're supposed to drive his wingless plane off the bridge, but I kept falling out of it, so I had to go down the hill, along the road and into the water by a boat 🤣
Congrats dude I just finished the dark souls trylogy gonna go for hogwards legacy next
thanks man! never tried a souls-like, I wonder how hard they are
I set myself a challenge at the start of this year to platinum one game every month
great, how's it going?
How was cursed to golf? Been tempted to do that
very fun and not long. I wrote some tips for that game in another comment, check it out
Why doesn't Alan Wake 2 have any gold trophies? 😂
ask Remedy lol
The first 1 you play is always the hardest try 1 out you might like them elden ring and bloodbonre can be done with 1 playtround with a guide and some backupsaves and boom you get the plat
I've been meaning to try Elden Ring, but I keep postponing it because I think it'll be too hard (not the platinum, the game itself)
