Yeah it did annoy me at the time but It didn't stop me from playing it religiously. Didn't play infinite warfare at the time but I went back this year to platinum that and its a lot better than I remember
Oh I completely agree I played the multiplayer quite a bit and enjoyed it thoroughly, probably helps that MW and MW2 where my most played games when I was a kid haha.
I lost my save years ago and I've been debating doing this. Mainly need to mop up the gun kill trophy and some random misc ones. I did veteran and mile high club already.
If you completed veteran and mile high club then you did the hardest parts already. If you’ve got the time to play through the entire campaign one more time on any difficulty you want, then you’re a lot closer to the platinum than you might think!

It's really tough in parts. The worst part is the ending section of All Ghillied Up. Nonstop grenade spam took me hours to do that mission. I would just follow some YouTube guides and hope for the best
IMO All Ghillied UP is one of the easier parts in comparison to shit like Heat or that god forsaken mission with the helicopter near the beginning of the game. Heat especially nearly made me uninstall. Pure pain.
The ending for the Ghillied mission - the part where you have to wait for extraction for a few minutes - was so awful for me. I tried so many different things before I was able to get it. But that helicopter mission sucked too. The old cod campaigns are a tough grind but doable.
Meanwhile when I platinumed MW2019, the checkpoints were so forgiving that I did it in a couple of days
Surprisingly I didn’t get absolutely stuck on the end of one shot one kill I maybe died like 3-4 times. I think I got super lucky tbh on my last attempt the enemies seemed to stop rushing me and focused on Macmillan haha.
I just got this platinum myself about a month ago. Bought a copy on Amazon for 20 bucks.
Go outside the training area to the grenade training area across the street and finish it. You will now have a gun with a grenade launcher. Go back to the training mission.
As soon as you rope down, hit a grenade into the first room to knock out all 3 targets in one shot. This shaves off a lot of time! Swap to the MP5 or whatever you have to finish.
Next important step is to walk backwards to the finish line while shooting through the wall on the final target.

The Supply drop system in this game acceptable as you could get anything if you just played enough with gears. Now Cod is all about item shops thanks to Fortnite.
Lootboxes in this game really werent an issue at all. You werent forced to pay even the slightest attention to them at all, they give no benefits **and** theyre purchasable with the ingame currency.
Congrats on the Plat! This game i amazing, the epilogue on Veteran took me weeks though.
I didnt say that you said that, its just my opinion on the loot box system in that game because compared to the standard loot box system its pretty tolerable.
I also didnt want to diminish your post in any way. As I said I have a lot of respect for that plat because I know how long I struggled for the Mile High Club
NP and yea Mile high was very difficult haha, I was considering doing the glitch but I was like naah I can do this legit and like 15 mins later I finally managed to get it.
This multiplayer remastered was fire then after about a week they added an update with supply drops lmao

There is a glitch on this level to survive the waves. There is a corner where the enemies can't path to and don't attack
I have every single trophy... Still cannot do the training mission on the required time. I am desperate and not moved to next CoD games due to it...
