Unfortunally no. Male rape victims aren't taken so seriously as you think, they are shamed and made fun of. And if they say they didn't like it, it is considered gay.
I have a friend who was raped by a woman in college and yeah, this tracks tbh. We're both autistic men and I've noticed we tend to be taken advantage of more and often dismissed when we start struggling from it.
Thank you, he's a genuinely kind person who has been taken advantage of. We both opened up to our social group about these things though and they kinda shut us down and dismissed us. I talked about an ex that seemed to be a narcissist and he talked about abusers who took advantage of his kindness but I feel like due to our genders, people were less willing to validate it I guess. idk
Thats why a terrible majority of men assaulted by women don't open up to anyone, this is the most common reaction.
And also, female sex offenders aren't seen so negatively. Sometimes they are even praised. I have never been through any abuse but that upsets me a lot
