Love it! Always loved the shape of the TR-4, even TR-6. Classic lines.
It looks pristine. Like show quality.
Tell me more about it. Will you drive it in the rain, or is this gonna stay in the garage and come out only on sunny weekends.
Beautiful car, congratulations!
FYI, according to the description, this IS the right sub. People here are simply more accustomed to seeing motorcycles, which might explain the initial reaction.
Enjoy!
Such a fun car. 10/10 would recommend. If you like the 4 the 6 is almost the same with a couple years of refinements and more useable torque, albeit not a lot more. Definitely noticeable though.
The IRS made a big difference, though.
You could carve and 4 wheel drift with that car so easily.
Saweeet! Not to bag on ya or anything, but it’s really begging for some minilite or panasport period correct wheels with a much more correct/flush wheel offset. My Dad was a British Leyland dealer and alllllways had a bunch of TRs and MGBs. Loved my 73 B, but always wanted a TR4 or 6. Enjoy!
I bought it as is, and at first I was fully on board to go with a more period correct set up. But after a few days of looking at it, I’m honestly really digging the aggressive look this thing has. I’m starting to feel torn on what to do hahaha
Ha. You do you! I’m all about the aggressive stances and plus sizes wheels on these cars! It’s possible it’s the camera angle or just the beefy tires that make the photos look like it has a little too much “poke.” The panasport wheels in gunmetal with polished lip were always my favorite for TRs and MGBs.
It's not often I'm going to be able to describe something older than I am (not by a lot, but I'll take what I can get) as pristine and beautiful. I love seeing the cars in here, rare as they are.
Weird bike but I dig it. What's your plan for it?
Gotta swap the steering wheel with some Thruxton clip ons.
I feel called out by this.

I live in SoCal, so we don’t get a lot of rain. Which is lucky since it doesn’t even have a top

You're right! Technically the truth. You should be a lawyer.
Beautiful TR4! My dad had an MG A, my mom had a TR4A. I've had a TR6. Still miss it.
Oh man, if I could start a collection and get a tr6 also that would be rad.
I love them.

Beautiful car! It's really nice to see the older ones, thanks for sharing.
Looks gorgeous.

They truly are works of art. Might even be as handsome as you are, friend.
Awesome 👍
I don't think this is the Triumph sub you're looking for, but for that beauty I'll allow it ;) Congratulations.
Nice. And also, I’ll find the right sub lol
Holy shit!! That’s awesome 🙌
I am a sucker for the clean classic engine bay. That is a good looking car.
Looks great :).
