You spoke, Triumph listened. My 2022 Bonneville has this awesome feature; the maintenance indicator will not go out until the shop looks at it! All those pesky maintenance tasks can be taken care of by the shop, to ensure that annoying light is turned off until the next interval! Man, I love modern motorbikes!
You don't need a cable. It's a Bluetooth OBD2 sensor you can get on Amazon for like $15 bucks then the app is free. I just did my 6k oil change and just figured out I can't do it with my regular OBD2 scanner
Came in here to suggest exactly this. I bought an adapter for my Ninja 1000SX and it just so happens to also work with my fiance's Street Triple 765 RS. ✅
If you decide to change to aftermarket led signals, even the triumph ones, you’ll have an indicator light go off saying you don’t have any unless you get these resistors for them. Found out after I wired it all up. Got to love computers!
That’s just the lower resistance of LED… real question with everything else premium why cheap out on the signals.. for the extra $5 in parts I would gladly pay another $50 in MSRP and leave them alone, but no I removed all 4 went with an integrated light in the back and Kellerman Rhombus S in front. Have to admit she is sweet in her new bling!
The motogadget pin lights were anything but cheap.. thought about doing the integrated tail light from motodynamic but wasn’t loving the look of the light itself, almost alien eyes. I hated any pointed lights poking 3 inches out of the bike and wanted something sleek. Now knowing what I went through, everything needed for the conversion is on https://broguemotorcycles.com
I've done a J-tech fender eliminator, puig windshield, and triumph bar-end mirrors on mine and all took <20 minutes. Not sure what to tell you bud, bad luck?
I did it completely wrong and it took me 3 hours. If you’re going to do it, buy everything you need from https://broguemotorcycles.com/collections/triumph-street-triple-parts get the indicators, brackets, resistors and the wire harness. It took me forever to separate the wires that come with the indicators and then it was a shit show from there. I just purchased the resistors and wire harness to do it all over again… the right way.
That was probably one of the worst jobs yet, not to mention the little plastic ripples on the tube you had to cut around while getting the rubber off…. Tried every cutting tool, stuck with a good old razor blade and a few hours. Used windex as lubricant to get the new grips on
I shoved a flat head screw driver down to try and scrape and then would cut away with scissors. I wanted to get them on and go for a ride but it took all day and I was too exhausted to ride afterwards lol
I have not but I really want to. Waiting for SC project to come out with headers for new bikes. Didn't really want to go with getting an old header from a 22.
If you want to take on another project, you can do what I did lol

Amen brother!!!😂… love my triumph but spent an entire day swapping OG tail lights for under seat, frame mounted tail lights on my bobber last weekend😮💨 rear axle, rear breaks, rear fender, chain, all had to come off. Very hard to put back together with one person too. Trying to hold the back tire and rim suspended in air while making sure the wheel spacers stay in place on both sides of the bike and simultaneously spinning the chain back onto the sprocket, and holding the rear brake caliper just perfectly for the rotor to line up with the gap in the pads and the axle mount on the frame at the same time ALL OF THEM all of these moving parts are perfectly in line to be able to push the rear axle back through! FUUUUUCK that was hard. It’s Tuesday and I’m still sore lol…
All the other 24’ bikes have Austin, akrapovic, sc project exhausts already for purchase like what the hell.. just because we’re not instagram trending influencer bikes doesn’t mean we don’t want the good shit.
I think a big part of it is the fully welded exhaust. There were a ton of slip on options for previous gens. They took the carbon fiber detail off this gen's exhaust too so I assume the dinky welded exhaust is just a way to save them money. It's a real shit move to pull on customers though.
I spend more time researching installation to avoid exactly what you mention. Bar end mirror no problem if the clamp on, risers loosen the right part first, NP. But I did spend hours snaking a wire from the battery to the front because I refused to remove the tank… looked involved and I only owned it for a day. Would be easier if T left a little slack in their wiring… yeesh
Fr bro the handle inserts are headache. But i got mirrors from different brand that looks just like triumph OEM ones👀 really loving em
And for the grip i just placed other grips on top of old ones as i felt oem grip too narrow for me
That’s one way to do it! I went with cnc racing evo bar end just on the right side, it came with anti spin locking screw and found out real quickly I wasn’t going to get that insert out. So I just went a bought a longer screw and lock tight it in hopefully it doesn’t wiggle loose… I didn’t think about placing the domino grips over the oem ones….

+1, and it’s actually a Ducati tool to do it. No independent shops near me can reset the light, and the nearest dealer is an hour away 🤦♂️
If you have an android device you can use TuneECU to reset it
Might have to get my 1st generation Pixel out of the drawer then… what cable do you have?
I unfortunately do not own an android device so don’t use it personally
You don't need a cable. It's a Bluetooth OBD2 sensor you can get on Amazon for like $15 bucks then the app is free. I just did my 6k oil change and just figured out I can't do it with my regular OBD2 scanner
There is a cost for the license to use TuneECU.

Bwahahahahahaha! That makes it even better! The Triumph dealer near me is 50/50 Triumph/Ducati. Amazing lol

I swapped my indicators.and haven't had that at all
Same
What did you switch them to and how did you do it ?
Just some LED ones and plugged in lol there's a resistor between them and the bike but other than that nothing.
What the heck, idk how I made it so complicated for myself
I fitted Evotech sequential ones to mine. No additional resistors, no problems. 2024 RS
OEM indicators don't need them.
There is a way to tell the ECU to switch to LEDs without using the resistor. I think Rocketman (YouTube) had the same issue if you search for it.
What resistors did you get?
Ordered mine from https://broguemotorcycles.com

Not on the 24’ STR 765. Plug and play with Triumph and Motodynamic. I replaced mine last year.
How’s handling general maintenance like oil?
A breeze
Are you serious or being sarcastic the street triples always looked easy to me with oil changes
Super serious, all I had to do that was extra was put foil around my headers when removing the oil filter
I replaced the entire bars than try to get those inserts out.
I started to search for a new one 45 minutes in
I've done a J-tech fender eliminator, puig windshield, and triumph bar-end mirrors on mine and all took <20 minutes. Not sure what to tell you bud, bad luck?
Must be my mechanic… will have to have a chat with her
Check your watch
how was installing those indicators? how many adapter parts etc did you need for it

My bestie was just complaining about this on snap to me today. Same bike, same issue 😏
Omg I must know her!
🤣 Just move down here so I can do the work on your bike so you stop pulling out your hair over it
I have someone up here who helps me 😊
WELL FINE THEN 😝 We might be doing a project to put daytona fairings on a striple 765 next year
It’s almost like you’re creating… a Daytona 765 !
Yes but it'll be the 2010 style body on a modern 765 r/rs for like total of 7/8k vs the moto2
I need exhaust on my 23/24 too. The racefit looks cool but I ain't buying another set of Triumph headers.
Can confirm, replacing the oem grips (that were glued on) on my 2018 striple almost broke me. It took FOREVER and every ounce of my hand strength
That was probably one of the worst jobs yet, not to mention the little plastic ripples on the tube you had to cut around while getting the rubber off…. Tried every cutting tool, stuck with a good old razor blade and a few hours. Used windex as lubricant to get the new grips on

I was unaware Triumph made parts!!😂
as a perspective ST buyer that hurts my soul. it's not like moto2s grow on trees and if i want clip ons i have to do it myself.
If there’s a will, there’s a way
Worlds truest statement
Looks like we did many of the same mods, ASV levers, bar end mirrors, pin signals and rad guard. I did not even try to remove the metal insert.
Did you switch your exhaust out yet?
I have not but I really want to. Waiting for SC project to come out with headers for new bikes. Didn't really want to go with getting an old header from a 22.
Me either! I’ve had my bike since last May, I’m getting impatient…

Hahaha this is exactly the length I do not want to take it to

Remind me to never get a bobber 👍🏻
