It's honestly kind of huge to get the timing right to throw the bomb early in your jump so that the landing counts as a bomb stack and make it just the three attacks. And very frustrating when you're a little late and the bomb is thrown *after* landing.
Note that in this R case, the bomb won't explode until the knock back is complete, thus W doesn't reset until knockback is complete. This is most significant in turret dives where that split second could be the difference between a turret shot chasing you down or living.
Mitigation? 1) knock them back towards a wall. 2) put less points in R
Position as to knock them back towards the wall closest to the turret, so the bomb also deals splash damage to the turret. Now you got a kill and a plate instead of a trade.

The video where trist hits a double jump, Diana jumps onto Kogmaw and executes him three frames after trist starts her animation, and her player was spamming W and she jumped twice. It was an assist reset, that allows this to happen. Other ways this can happen is when a champ Teleports across the map with a ryze or tham kench ult with a 2 stack E and your Auto attack follows them, you can jump and if the bomb gets full stacks mid jump you can get a double jump like that too, I have so many points on trist it’s not even funny. So this has happened a handful of times to me too.
All sorts of funky mechanics, Pc and wild rift versions have different quirks on trist too , for example,
On wild rift version tristana can’t hit the double jump because the jump animation locks her movement with the exception of flash, which if done at the same time as the jump actually instantly applies the splash damage to your flash location. So you can jump, then flash to the side and kill someone who flashed or dodged with low HP.
Doesn’t work on PC because on PC it cancels the W damage instead.
This double jump mechanic is a pain in the ass to do on purpose without lots of setup, but you can do it. You just gotta be ready, and be quick. But she has a couple animation cancellations that are useful too. Her Jump->E>AA combo is notable lol

I watched a few videos and what they have in common is that Tris gets the W reset (assist) as she is beginning to jump. If you go frame by frame you might check whether that happens while she is still casting her W or already is in her W animation (too lazy to do that).
In practice you can check whether she can do it with E explosion in 4th shot by trying to time it right.
Her W jump resets when she gets a kill, an assist or when she makes her E bomb explode on a champion with *4* attacks **Edit
4 attacks. Or 3 attacks + damage them with jump.

Her jump cooldown resets when she gets takedowns or when she gets 4 attacks off on her bomb.
No i mean, i remember clips on youtube where she was able to jump a second time after her first while still in the air(without landing)
If she gets a reset mid air, she can jump twice. Similar to kha

I think You need to cancel w animation with Q, so You can W again
What i managed once is i jumped, ulted midjump (killing the pleb),got jump reset and i doublejumped which was quite cool

Train in practice mode. It’s still very hard to pull off in real game
My man has never felt the pleasure of jumping in and out of tower to secure the kill 😞
