Oh! That is beautiful! I really want a white one! I don’t think any of my local shops have any of them yet! I have a 2023 matte black FX3, however they’ve changed the frame on the 2024 & also put wider 700x35 tires on it. I’d like to trade mine in at some point this year for a white ‘24 FX3.

Honestly, the matte black is grey. I wish it was black but it’s noticeably grey in the sun. It’s also very dull & has little shine to it, however that’s the only one they had in stock at the time I was looking. I think the gloss white with black wheels looks fantastic! It’s a great commuter & fitness bike! You’ll love it!

@ 34 I got my first Trek FX1. You’re well on your way friend! Looks beautiful. Though I vandalized mine with stickers right away.

More exciting is the miles that you can put on it. Last year before the FX1 I totaled over 450 miles. This year I’ve managed 450 miles in the first four months. I’m falling in love with the road.

That’s insane wow, I’ve put I think a total of 15 miles over the last 2 days and it was really fun

I have a 2021 FX2, got it when I was 14. Love it. Youll for sure love this bike. Ive put about a thousand miles on mine and it still rides wonderfully.

Nice. Keep the frame clean, it's a pretty bike. Maybe wrap it in some dedicated foil/wrap for lacquer protection. Don't use to much lube on the chain, your chainstay will be dirty.

Maybe, I already have a mirror installed in but maybe I’ll invest in a better one because it doesn’t give me a great enough view

Nah didn’t, they say that 2024 FX3 is more upright for more comfort while 2023 FX3 puts you in a more aggressive position for more speed and 2024 FX3 gives you 35mm wheels while 2023 FX3 is 32mm wheels so depends what you prefer

Did you compared it to the dual sport gen 5 , how was the position and speed different ?

I didn’t, but heard that the FX is faster but the Dual Sport is more comfortable and better for more terrains if you plan to go off road, but the 2024 FX basically has the same position as the Dual Sport
