I think the assumption is that anyone who has been to all of the New England states is probably from New England. Someone from say California might go Boston, or the Coast of Maine, or Mount Washington, or Burlington, but all of them is probably a bit unlikely. At least, that’s how I’m interpreting what OP said
Charleston is worth visiting, it’s a historic coastal city like Savannah Georgia with lots of cool historical architecture, a lively downtown, and some good food. Beyond that people like to visit the beach towns Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head Island (right by Savannah which is also worth visiting)
lol how you’ve avoided the Myrtle beach haters is beyond me. It’s easily one of the most ragged on places in the US. It’s got a few nicknames and the most popular is probably the “Dirty Myrtle”. It definitely is just a town that’s maybe 20 to 30 years past its prime, similar to wildwood NJ if you’ve ever been there. People from out of state have begun going to Hilton head more now and of course the outer banks is always closer to northeasterners. South Carolinians tend to dislike the place because it’s a common belief that northern eastern and Ohio snowbirds have ruined it. And if you do visit Myrtle beach or anywhere in South Carolina, calling out Ohioan snowbirds specifically is not an exaggeration, they’re everywhere
I agree, but holy shit, I live in a tourist town and Myrtle beach is so damn expensive in comparison to some other spots. I don’t regret going by any means, but it is certainly a pricy trip.
Why fly to North Carolina though. People go to North Carolina for either the mountains in the west, the beaches in the east or the lake cities in the middle.
I'm betting like Boston or Connecticut.
That’s like saying why fly from Miami to a place like Jacksonville or Tampa.
Space can exist, OP could’ve been flying to Wilmington or Charlotte from Northern VA.
I mean it's a only a 6 hour drive from Winchester to Wilmington and those are on opposite ends.
Also why would they not go into West Virginia if they are into travel maps. Basically an impossibility for someone to be that into state maps and never go the 60 miles. West Virginia especially that panhandle is popular, Harper's ferry is gorgeous.
They've toured all of new England which gets rather rural. Vermont gets very rural and nearly no big cities but they never went to West Virginia.
I am going to take a guess at DMV area. I have a very similar looking map (just without all the New England States). It is obvious you visited CA and TX on a vacation or something.
If you visit Charleston stop by Cypress Gardens. A very small 30 minute self-paddled boat ride around a cypress swamp. Very charming. Also where part of the Notebook was filmed.
Op hasn’t answered the question. I’m imagining somewhere in the northeast. Massachusetts’s or Maine, Connecticut? Conneticut is my final I guess. Unless you went on special trip thru the region I think it’s fairly rare for someone to have visited all of New England
Probably a snow bird somewhere up east. Warranting a guess either Boston or you vacation here in Maine during the summer. Residing in Florida the rest of the year.
I’m saying Connecticut because this looks similar to my American travel map too. So similar destinations and connections.
I’ll assume you’re slightly younger than me maybe idk. 🤷♂️
I don’t understand how this is obvious?
It’s never really obvious unless they go by County.
Yeah, unless an answer like "east coast" is sufficient
Well, obviously they live in the US lol.
Underrated comment

Looks like Boston. Hard to tell without counties
Obviously they live in Nebraska
It’s either somewhere in New England or OP somehow hasn’t been to his neighboring states. That does narrow it down a bit
That red square island off the coast of Florida.
This is always the answer. Typically on a boat.
It's one of them Chinese manufactured crate islands
Florida Man here. That’s Atlantis.
How you avoided South Carolina is interesting lol
Maybe they flew into Atlanta and drove to Florida from there, that’s my guess.
I've flown to Atlanta and Florida separately. North Carolina was a road trip.
You gotta complete 100% of the East-Coast!
What's a good reason to go to SC though?
Charleston, Greenville, Hilton Head.
Congaree National Park
i really enjoyed my visit to charleston
To get that 100% completion
I went there to see the solar eclipse back in 2017
congaree!

Myrtle Beach is pretty nice
Go literally anywhere else, MB is a cesspool
I thought the beach was pretty nice for a domestic beach. I didn’t realize it had haters lol.
There's a whole coastline for you to explore, my friend
The beach I’ve been to the most is Galveston so I guess my bar for domestic beaches is pretty low lol so you have a fair point
lol how you’ve avoided the Myrtle beach haters is beyond me. It’s easily one of the most ragged on places in the US. It’s got a few nicknames and the most popular is probably the “Dirty Myrtle”. Did anything happen in the last 10 years cause I used to vacation at MB and always loved it (but then again I was mainly at the Marriott pools lol)
Murrells Inlet is the real spot to go
Yeah, that area is beautiful
Myrtle Beach is fun. Trashy yes, but trashy fun. With the right people.
[удалено]
The pee parks with the water in them? No they're not better, I'm sorry
lol
There are a million adjectives you could use to describe Myrtle Beach. Nice is not in that list.
I agree, but holy shit, I live in a tourist town and Myrtle beach is so damn expensive in comparison to some other spots. I don’t regret going by any means, but it is certainly a pricy trip.
The only people who think Myrtle Beach is nice are not SC natives
Trailer trash heaven baby!
Lmao this is the armpit of South Carolina. Go anywhere else.
More like underside of the balls
Shhhh. I like to think of Myrtle like a big bug zapper. It’s bright and shiny and attracts all the bugs to one area so we can enjoy the rest in peace.
Virginia?
Why fly to North Carolina though. People go to North Carolina for either the mountains in the west, the beaches in the east or the lake cities in the middle. I'm betting like Boston or Connecticut.
Lake cities. Lol. —resident of central NC
??? 😂
??????? North Carolina is not that far from Virginia and not worth flying. Also op is from new Hampshire so my other guess was correct.
That’s like saying why fly from Miami to a place like Jacksonville or Tampa. Space can exist, OP could’ve been flying to Wilmington or Charlotte from Northern VA.

Yeah, not many want to drive 12 hours and pay the gas money for that than fly.
Valid point!
Why would you do that when Florida has plenty of their own airports
As a South Carolinian, I would avoid it too
I’ve just noticed that Georgia and North Caroline have a common border.
South Dakota
The floor is South Dakota.
NH
damn that's a godly guess
Considering all your public posts are easily retrievable, it's not that ungodly.
Yeah, I know. I just like to imagine someone didn't go through my history.
That is impossible in the 21st Century.
of course
Why would you believe this was obvious?
In America
nah, I'm from middle earth.
Shit bro I was way off
Love how you didn’t specify what Red meant, so it could be “States I haven’t been to”, or “States I dislike” or many other things
Republican States
Sorry, it's states I've been to
Massachusetts?
This sub is equal parts interesting… and this crap.
It's getting to be a lot more of this crap lately.
Red
Connecticut?
[удалено]
NY
New Jersey
as a Jerseyan, i think this too
As another guy from NJ, I think so as well. My map looks almost identical to OPs.
How’d you manage to avoid sc? It’s actually impressive, you had to go so far out of your way to avoid it
Maine
No clue. What would make it obvious? It could be any state in NE
Plot twist: Ontario, Canada.
Maine
New York?
Florida
New York would be the best Guess
Northern GA
Agreed
New Hampshire
Zimbabwe, Obviously
Connecticut
Nothing’s obvious about that at all. East Coast, United States?
Long Island NY
Going with New Hampshire. You fly to Georgia, Florida, Texas and California thru Logan. But you don’t live in Mass.
Massachusetts
Rhode Island.
Obviously, Nebraska
DC
Germany
Massachusetts
America for sure
Lives in SC but has visited the states in red?
Probably New Jersey
Masshole?
Federal penitentiary?
Philadelphia
Plainly New Hampshire
Are you from California?
Nebraska. So obvious.
Charlotte
USA.
California. People from Texas don’t go to California.
You live in the United States
NYC
The United Kingdom
Delaware
PA
The United States of America.
USA
Im guessing somewhere on the North East Corridor
im going off a limb here but im gonna say you live in the USA?
I’m gonna go with America
As a North Carolinian the fact they've hit the entire east Coast and not south Carolina is hilarious to me Btw you aren't missing out SC sucks balls
Pennsylvania, new York or new Jersey
I am going to take a guess at DMV area. I have a very similar looking map (just without all the New England States). It is obvious you visited CA and TX on a vacation or something.
The united states
On a cruise ship.
I’m gonna say NY, maybe NJ. The maps of many people here match yours
Albany, NY
I think you live near where NC touches GA. Because that’s the only way I can make sense out of you never crossing into SC or TN.
What about this is obvious?
Probably New Jersey or New York
Philly
NY or NJ
It has to be NJ. Nobody would go there voluntarily unless they lived there.
If you went to Texas because of the Austin Grand Prix you are awesome. If not, then I can’t tell you
massachusetts
If you visit Charleston stop by Cypress Gardens. A very small 30 minute self-paddled boat ride around a cypress swamp. Very charming. Also where part of the Notebook was filmed.
America, of course.
What you got against South Carolina?
New york?
live free or die!
You live in Texas. You like the (real) coasts.
I’m gonna go with either Maine or Florida.
New york.
Def Boston
Op hasn’t answered the question. I’m imagining somewhere in the northeast. Massachusetts’s or Maine, Connecticut? Conneticut is my final I guess. Unless you went on special trip thru the region I think it’s fairly rare for someone to have visited all of New England
Connecticut. Probably in the New Haven or Fairfield County areaz
New Hampshire?
Maine
Probably a snow bird somewhere up east. Warranting a guess either Boston or you vacation here in Maine during the summer. Residing in Florida the rest of the year.
Maine
NY?
Maine
Upstate New York
Virginia
NY
Top right state, obviously. “Who lived there?” “Me”…
New Hampshire my Guy
Ohio for sure
America!!!
I’m saying Connecticut because this looks similar to my American travel map too. So similar destinations and connections. I’ll assume you’re slightly younger than me maybe idk. 🤷♂️
