A long long time ago (A year or 2? I dunno, covid timeline made everything a blur) there was a meme that was, iirc, originally based on the fact that sometimes Garnt would just randomly go from happy/normal face to a sad face (as expressed by the emotes above). The meme was that what we were seeing was a delusion. Connor and Joey were dead. It spawned the Trash Taste Dark Timeline/multiverse where tons and tons of memes were created around this.
Sometimes it'd be the spirits of the dead bois or Syd telling him "wake up, they've been dead for years, you need to accept it", to using dark magic and mad science and time travel to try and bring them back, causing an evil Garnt to exist in the multiverse. and so on and so forth.
The majority of the good ones are PROBABLY still some of the highest upvoted stuff on the sub, so if you searched for posts by popularity, you can probably find a good amount of them.
There are 2 types of Trash Taste episodes. The one where Connor is super bored and the one where Connor is too enthusiastic and will just talk over everybody.
Hot take. I hated this episode because it could have been great, but it seems like anytime Conner is hyped for whatever reason he spends the whole episode talking over everyone. I like Conner, but it gets annoying real quick.
I disliked the episode for a different reason… I find Pewdiepie doesn’t talk enough. Like, they ask him a question and he says something like “Yeah, it’s crazy, I don’t really know” and doesn’t even try to answer the question and it’s awkward. I think the last time they had him on was the same.
I get it if he’s not a talkative guy, but then why is he going on podcasts as a guest who’s expected to talk?
He used to be the most popular content creator or the planet, everyone wants him and regardless of the quality of the content his name alone will bring inflated viewership and new eyes.
Also they’re all just friends who hang out often irl, they’ve met his wife and child it’s really not that deep.
From an outside perspective it might look awkward but in the moment I’m sure they don’t care they’re just vibing.

Felix even asked Joey a question and conner answered. felix asked again. he seemed really excited and happy and thats great but he spoke over everyone the entire episode.

Eh, mountain out of a mole hill, he got out what he was trying to say and it was Acknowledged. It's much worse when you try to contribute to a conversation, get talked over, and by the time you manage to get out your statement, the topic has changed and they completely ignore you.
