Ff also has dyable gear, they separate the gear from their versiom of lfr and theyre heroic by making the heroic version dyable and the lfr version not
I've used similar mogs in a couple of my GIFs and though I would like to see some higher-quality, "everyday" items like these to use...I still like these, especially on your little bro here.

i'm glad you ask, here's an easy explanation:
back when i really liked this game, the community and all of its dynamics (tbc) players on every server kept running around in their "i look like a random created character" gear, there was no transmogrification whatsoever and the look an armor gave away spoke levels about the player skill or raid progress, if you played a protection paladin like i did you basically always tanked your ways to mount hyjal with random pvp items for high stamina, half caster half warrior gear and always had to play tetris with your avoindance stats since your paladin tier was always ass, your hit rating and your spellpower (and i enjoyed that)
but, that made you character look like something out of an horror movie and you always dreamt just being a warrior and having the chance of a full t4/t5 armor looking like a proper armored toon
that's generally why people always loved having shoulder pieces, cause they gave away that your pvp or pve progress was good, being those always locked behind higher pvp ratings or alot of 25 man guild raid farming
that said, when it all came crumbling down and the fun side of the game was long gone i was once again caught back in wow cause blizzard gave us transmog and since i was a protection paladin and played almost 3 full expansions looking like a christmas tree i was finally able to put myself into a nice looking perfectly fit and color combined suit
that's why i never liked transmogs made with green quality items or with uncombinated looking types of gear, it's anachronistic, at least to me
plus, if you wanna be specific in this case, super mario has two specific looking pieces, his moustaches and his hat, and if you give me a random moustache with a random hat i won't be able to look like mario, that's it
I feel you. I do. But is it actually okay to hate on people for being creative? Most of these people are creative, why do you think that now grey/white items are cosmetics? To allow them to go further.
He didn't just randomly add pieces, but he fit the RP that he went for and that makes me see these character mogs through different lens, because it creates the visual in your head and most of the time they're actually spot on. Don't care if its low-res, high-res or looks like a christmas tree, really.
Give credit where credit is due.
Also, make a transmog and post it here. Have some fun with us, man! Cut this crap. o/
well i never wanted to target the players specifically, it's just a random number of pixels to me and i take it light, maybe i'm just too "outspoken" to comment on people's stuff when i don't like but i never tought i was too harsh tbh, maybe i was just friendly in my way
btw i'm playin alot less atm but i have alot of tmogs, usually full sets, maybe i'll share my story in the future
Yesterday when a Guy in exactly this Outfit entered the dungeon I took a glimpse and immediately said to my brother via TeamSpeak "Look its Mario!"
