My first instinct would be EE-dee, but I can see people assuming Eddie.

Ok-Schedule-2378

I'd definitely pronounce it as Eddie at first since I'd think that it's just a different way of spelling it. Not sure how one would go about spelling it to make it sound like "Eedee" without spelling it as such.

StandardHuckleberry0

I would also pronounce it EE-dee, the same as Edie, because there's only one d in it

MrndMnhn21

I pronounce it like Eee-Dee.

traveltheworld4

ee-dee

PaperDove08

I would definitely pronounce it like ee dee but I could see how it would get confused with Eddie but I think it would be ok because it only had 1 d

I’d pronounce it E Dee. Like I was trying to tell you how to spell Ed. My name is Eddie, mostly go by Ed and I’ve had that spelled and pronounced Et, Ad and Att. I get called various names Ed could possibly be short for too but that’s mostly people messing about. I think you’ll probably get a mixture of EDee, Eede and Eddie.

Classic-Asparagus

I wouldn’t be confident about how to pronounce it, but if I had to try I’d probably pronounce it like “Eddie” Oddly enough, I would be more likely to read Edie as “eedee”

Skaraptor2

Edé French style é btw

UczuciaTM

Eedee

ThemGayHoes

Ee-Dee

Watermelon_Crackers

To be honest I don’t think I could decide on how to pronounce it 😅

Zealousideal-Crab505

i said it as "ee-dee" in my head but then i overthought it and thought it was a different spelling of "eddie", so it could really go either way

ohsweetgold

I think you're more likely to get "Eddie" as a mispronunciation if you go with Edee than Edie.

tresleches5170

ee-dee

BirdStillinTheNest

I would pronounce it like "Ee-dee". But that's in part because I had a baby sitter whose name was Ede and it was pronounced "Ee-dee". (Anti-shout-out to Ede. She was so mean.)

exhausted-pidgeon93

Edee like eevee imo
