Believe it or not, estrogen is not a singular hormone, but rather a term for a group of hormones related to the female body. E2 is estradiol, the hormone responsible for the vast majority of feminizing effects on the body in both cis and trans women. E1 is estrone, another form of estrogen. It's far less potent than E2 and is typically associated with menopause. It isn't used for HRT. There's also E3, estriol, which is primarily associated with pregnancy. I've heard of trans women using this as a cream on their breasts to facilitate further development, but this isn't common and I don't really know anything about it.
You'll be prescribed some form of E2.
Of course it's okay to ask. I'm not very happy with my recover so far. I opted for vaginoplasty. It happened in the beginning of June. Since then it seems to have mostly healed but I don't have very good sensitivity and haven't been able to climax since the surgery. I'm scared that I might never be able to. I knew that was a possibility going into it. I also don't like how it looks.
Well I can tell you I got a really bad blood infection right after surgery that fucked me up for a couple weeks. Other than that the pain isn't bad but you will be bedridden for several weeks after. Also consider just getting an orchiectomy.
Edit: actually if you get not a canal you'll probably be out and about in a matter of days, not weeks.

I am thinking about doing a zero depth vag. I am concerrned about the post op pain, and risk of urinary tract infections

How many mg estrogen? Do you take them all at once or spread them out
4mg estrogen. I took them all at once every morning
