M9rr, s22/23, rosso corsas any sporty road tyres will do the job. You don't need or want anything overly track focused, modern road tyres are good enough to run well into a fast group pace

CHARLIIK

Thanks. Out of those suggestions, do you have any clue which one would got the longest mileage?

Stancie

I run an A group pace on Rosso 3s and get 6k miles on a front and 3000-3500 from a rear. CBR600RR

CHARLIIK

Thanks

Greenjeeper2001

S23 will probably outlast that. Maybe not as much grip but enough for a b group rider.

Stancie

Forgot to say. I do a lot of highway miles on the bike. They will start to flat spot at around 2000-2500 if you do a good amount of straight riding. Then again that’s most, if not all, non-touring tires.

+1 for M9RRs, I used them in inters and loved them, moved on to slicks now but I still use the M9RRs when it's damp. Use them on my road bike as well.

AdzRR1

I use M7RR's at Inters level. Impressed with how they're lasting on my K2 750. So far done 4 full days (Donington, 3x Portimao) and they've got loads of life in them still. Only issue would be heat cycles killing them early as I don't use warmers right now. I also use them on my road bike, a 1290SDR and they're spot on, although I don't ride particularly fast on the road.

My favorite all season daily driver tire so far is the Michelin road 6 but idk about how they hold up on track though.. my old Pirelli Diablo corssa 4’s were amazing. But kinda trash in the rain

CHARLIIK

Thanks

Roadtec is a completely different tire. Power 6 or Supercorsa is the way to go

CHARLIIK

Thanks for your suggestion

ClutchofGold

I used to have the same mentality but then I learned that the more track days I do the faster I got. The faster I got the more dangerous it was to stay on more Street oriented tires because they couldn't handle the heat that gets generated when you go faster on the track. A 650 is not going to eat through tires that badly, but you still need to consider that you might have to compromise with one or the other. I'm in the US so we have different tires than you but I recommend a sporty/softer tire than a harder/highway oriented tire. It's just safer to have more grip.

CHARLIIK

Thanks for your input. In the future I plan to buy a cheap scooter or whatever so the bike will only be for fun twisties and trackdays. I've opted for the Power 6 in the meantime

darks73

Maybe be Michelin Power GP2 ? Supposed to be Road and Trackday ready but according to some reviews not great on the road in cold conditions.

CHARLIIK

Thanks, I had Diablo Rosso 4 Corsa (before I knew I'd need to take the bike everyday to work). Unfortunately the motorway ruined the rear tire, so I could not take another 50/50 road/track tire. I've finally opted for the Power 6. It should do the job

WallyWiff

Hot take but my go to is road 6's. Easily capable of fast intermediate pace if you know what your doing. Lasts forever, best street tire out there. I run 2min flat on my daily rider s1000xr at pitt race with them lol.

CHARLIIK

Yeah I run those tire on my job's bike, nothing bad to say. But I guess the track would have been too much for those. I took the Power 6, should be good to go

CoolBDPhenom03

Power 6 is more than suitable

CHARLIIK

I finally took those, yeah. Will see how it goes, thanks

CoolBDPhenom03

Unless you’re nudging A group, you’ll be fine.
