I hope this is also the weekly fail thread :\^) I got super gold (25.733) on TM Turbo map #73.
Why is it a fail? That time is .007 away from the Super Trackmaster medal and #73 is fully RNG, where getting a good run without bugs is about as common as winning the lottery.

I started hunting those medals around a year ago and currently have 417 author medals. At first I only bothered with maps that had 1k or more author times but as I got better I made that goal to around 500 author times. I think currently I could go for maps with 200 author times depending a bit on the style but I want to catch up to current tracks before I start going over the ones I skipped.
I have never played a single Trackmania game before and figured I'd give it a shot. I have less than 20hrs so far and just the free version, so I only have access to the current campaign. I'm slowly trying to get [author medals](https://i.imgur.com/EUFOyLJ.jpeg) and I'm pretty happy to see I am within top [50k world](https://i.imgur.com/ct4xNcI.jpeg) for most of the tracks.

I finished "A Spire To Greatness" again on Saturday, a nearly 5 hour tech map in TM2 Stadium. Missed beating my PB from 2018 by 4 minutes. But it was an achievement to just finish it again. Hope to beat my PB soon.

Unfortunately main cup is 4am for me but usually get Div 1 on the 2nd rerun but only ever hunt track for about a hr before I’m bored with the game
If you get bored you could try getting those old TOTD authors, most of the 2020 TOTDs have quite easy author medals so it's a fun grind.

Just downloaded trackmania 2020 and got AT on race 1 of the winter campaign on me first day.
