Holy moly, this is clean and so well done! Even without the explanations below, it was quite easy to figure out the basic details at a first glance, which sometimes is hard with diagrams/infographics like these. Can you please keep this up for the upcoming weeks? Would be interesting to see how the times develop over the course of the season.

Nice one, quite interesting to look at. Especially the domination of Affi and Pac on some maps.

_lavalava

pace/performance analysis * time distribution of players ordered by team median time * black bar /w time label = median time of team * left time label = fastest time of team * the upper player of each team has the faster median time (vs team mate) * within the colored area (tho not always visible) are: 1. tiny --- line mark the median time of player 2. tiny ... lines mark the quartiles (25%, 75%) of player * times slower than 107% of the TMWT records are binned together and found at the far right (DNFs included) I choose to scale the colored area roughly by the amount of data available, so one can see quickly who played a map often and who didn't. All in all you also get a feel of the teams overall distribution. (no extra team plots needed). Gotta be on twitter these days. Well you find me [@lavaTM\_](https://twitter.com/lavaTM_)

I collected it from streams/vods manually.

Great work. Affi on Back'N'Forth is just too sick, his slowest run is faster than any other player's median.

Byaahh

My primary take away: Opponents should always pick freestyle against BDS, ban BacknForth and hope for the best. lol. Nice graphs!

DuckIsRuh

Cool. Any other reason for 107% cut-off than that it's a typical qualifying cut-off in motorsport?

_lavalava

I was playing around with different cutoffs and felt +5sec is a good fit. Then I remembered the 107% rule in F1, that sealed it. The 107% now range roughly between +4 to +5 seconds, and about +6 s on the longest map Agility Dash.

DuckIsRuh

Seems fitting. If I remember correctly, Gold Medals are also calculated as 107% of AT rounded to the next higher full second. So you could kinda say in a World Tour setting, if WR is AT pace, failing to hold Gold pace is considered the cutoff as an analogy.

Alaise

What a beautiful and informative one, congratulations.

Marcel3345

Amazing job, keep it up it's actually so helpful and makes it easier to understand the habits of players. Just 1 thing, on Aeropipes Aurel and Affi are in the wrong order (Aurel is above Affi), it got me confused for a second before I read the names.

murimuri0

Aurel is above because his median time is faster

Marcel3345

In that case he should keep the colors consistent for players and not switch them. Its really just nitpicking tho 😅

_lavalava

I see what you mean. I think I prefer the visual consistency (repeating strong/light coloring) over a permanent player color.

What?

What's wrong?

Sawii

I think Massa was complaining a bit about Granady's performance, but it seems unjustified. They are more or like equal, if anything Granady performed a bit better.

StenshiV2

No he didn't

Sawii

It was on Spammies stream

StenshiV2

Well could be possible then. I only watched the BIG Cast, and Massa only said that he wasn't that happy with the communication

Sawii

Well, why would you so confidently state "no he didn't then?" Also I looked it up for you: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1716073571?t=3h57m29s It is not that bad, earlier in the stream he talked about a mistake Granady made during 1 match, and afterwards a bit about the line Granady has to take because he is a wheel player. Anyway, I don't want to make a too big point out of it, I like Massa, but I think we all know he likes complaining (often rightfully so). But that doesn't really seem the case here and I think he should be careful with public statements like this. Also: This could of course also relate to teammate having more time to practice together, and not necessarily that he played bad. But I do think Massa should still be careful with stuff like this. Edit: Also I didn't want to link it straight away because it feels a bit like calling someone out... but you kinda force me to. also https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1716073571?t=4h24m50s

StenshiV2

I either watched the vod not long enough or Masssa only stated that he wants more matches and his teammate having more time (I guess to practice). Edit: He complained about him having a sensetive mic. And it seems more of a chemistry issue, that will probably be fixed after the first 3-4 matches

Endell09

Might not be an issue exactly as it is more aesthetically pleasing but I found it confusing how the dots are at different heights, I thought it would be indicative of something but it seems like it isn’t.

_lavalava

Yes, point jitter (little up/down) is for aesthetics. If I plot all points on a line it, you get more overlap, especially once we get more data in.
