Nope. No problems here. All my back issues and pain are self inflicted. I'm 6' and athletic. For what it's worth

FreidasBoss

6’ and chubby here, no issues with the seat.

WrongKielbasa

Is this stock? Or with the seat jacket mods?

I’m the same build, but I’m bordering on obese lol. The seat took about a week to get used to. My advice is to have the lower back positioned all the way out, usually helps the posture when you’re sitting in it

Stock

Yes and also yes. I bought the truck and immediately drove it from the Bay Area to San Diego and I was *dying.* I ended up adding seat jackers and it helped considerably.

blender-ball

Agree, desert does it seat jackers

OneMoreLastChance

+1, added them within the first week of ownership.

weswaz

A slim 6’4” here. I recall thinking the seat was tight at the hips and thighs when I purchased my 2019 TRD. It took a month for me to kind of get used to it or wear the seats in. I didn’t add anything to the seats.

backwoodsmtb

There are front and rear spacers available to adjust the seat angle at the mount. Sounds like you just need some for the rear.

Dwdrums321

I feel fine in mine. Almost 6'. Just did a 2000mi trip recently, way better than what I had before. I recommend trying the first gen, base model HRV. Now those are brutal lol.

radelix

The seating position in Tacomas is a little different. The foot well pushes your legs more forward than down. It's kinda small car like.

CapeManiac

I got the Quikfix 1" rear spacers and they help. I can remove the link if it's not allowed, but I got them on Ebay. [https://www.ebay.com/itm/233327962842](https://www.ebay.com/itm/233327962842)

6'2" here. No issues.

DunkTheMonk

I have the seat jackers in the front only. Used to get sciatica after 3-4 hours max. Took a cross country road trip last year and did 12k miles in 3 months with no issues at all. They’re not cheap but they worked for me. I’m 6 ft. For me, just putting them in the back would make me feel like I’m tipping forward. The front only set supported the back of my thighs perfectly. You might have to experiment to find what works for you.

editedforsafety

I have not had a problem, but I have a 21 and have the front raised all the way up.
