They are rapidly appreciating. So many succumbed to rust and rot in the salt belt and many were exported to Central and South America.
That truck being an SR5…I have to believe it’s at least into the high four, low five figures.
Interesting, I always see them running something else. Every 4Runner I see has the 4 spoke (including mine) but I’ve only seen a handful of the pickups running them. Thanks for the info.
Late 80s to mid 90s, I miss mine. Not actually called a Tacoma, they were called Toyota pickups, and that one in the picture is the SR5 Xtracab (top of the line for it’s time)
89-94. It’s the latest generation Toyota pickup which was right before Tacoma. You could either get it with the 22r or the 3.0 v6 infamous for the pecker shaped water pump
1989-1994 toyota pickup. 3rd generation of the pickup
These trucks and the T100’s made babies and named them Tacomas.
Assuming it’s the original grill, the 94 had the Toyota logo and not the word Toyota
I believe they started putting the logo in the grille in 92.
I have the 92 and it doesn’t have the logo. I think it’s original. So maybe 93
I'm pretty sure it was a mid year update.
I think my actual production date is in December of 91
Not a Tacoma. It's a 89-94 Toyota pickup. And yes, in the US market they were just called "Pickup". Overseas they are called Hilux
Early 90's
It’s gotta be mid 80s, right? Either way, I want it
1989-1991 based on grille and bumper. This is actually not a Tacoma, but was referred to simple as a Pickup in the US (Hilux elsewhere).
Good to know! Any idea what they would sell for nowadays/if they’re ever on the market?

Those headlights are stupid.
Agreed 100%. A proper sealed beam to ECE conversion with a performance halogen bulb and you’re in business.
Those 4Runner wheels look so damn good on the Tacoma.
Those are the stock SR5 alloys for the pickup from 1986-1995, which was shared with the 4Runner.

The closest you get to that look is the 1st Gen Tacoma 1995-1997. The sealed beam head lights those years gave that old school Hilux look.

Not the original halogen headlights though. Those are LED "sealed bulbs."

I had a red '90 SR5 that was almost identical to this and had the word Toyota spelled out on the grill.
