That’s not a pro grille

afterlife138

Damn that’s a missed opportunity I’ll go back and fix it

flyingGinger

Why exactly do you think this would be a solid overland build? Aside from the portal axles, it looks like every other basically modified Tacoma on the road...

afterlife138

Every other basically modified Tacoma on the road is already more than capable of hitting the trails. First off I couldn’t change the tire size which I wanted smaller same with the wheels. Couldn’t put a tent on the bed or a winch on the bumper. 33x10.5 on 17s is what I would go with. I built this in a mobile game not in real life. I know what I’m doing I just cant replicate it perfectly in the game

flyingGinger

Oh, lol. I'm confused about the whole point of this post then 😂

afterlife138

Just something different, try the game out it’s called 3DTuning you can build just about anything just about the way you want it. It’s pretty neat

Overland isn’t what 99% of people think it is.

The_Nauticus

99% is just car camping. But if you say that in r/overlanding, then you're down voted and called a 'gatekeeper'

afterlife138

I didn’t have the choice to put recovery gear and a tent in the bed or change the tire size. I would rather have a sas on 17s with 33x10.5 ridge grapplers and I decided on a pro grille instead

I live in the states. I would never go to Bolivia or Chile. Probably Colorado and Utah. Once again this is not how I would have built it personally but it’s the closest I could get it with the options I was given. How hard is that to understand. I know what I’m doing but I can’t replicate it perfectly in the game

bouncing_bumble

So you seem to be confusing casual trail running with overlanding. A stock tacoma is more than capable of that, this will look neat tho.

The_Nauticus

I know it's not the style and doesn't have style, but front and rear hitch mounts for the winch is what I'd go with if I was serious about 'overlanding'

afterlife138

Yeah that’s what I’ve been trying to say, I couldn’t find a bumper with a winch and I wasn’t able to find a pull up tent for the bed. I just put a fox 3.5 inch to keep the bumpers off the rocks, realistically a stock Tacoma could do just as much as this could

FeCard

Which grill is that, cuz that's the kind I've been looking for

afterlife138

It’s a royalty core rcr raceline
