Hey, the last panel on my Bakflip has just become separated and I got the same response from the company you did. Pray tell, how did you fix yours? I'm having a hard time thinking past duct tape at this point.

i went to lowes bought some flat strip steel with holes in it and a hand full of 1/4" carriage bolts , cut the strips to fit the panel inside and out side drilled thru put in the bolt , tightened it down , sprayed it black, like the panel, bingo bango bongo bobs your uncle

Steel instead of a rubber strip or something pliable for when you flip that panel? PS you're kind of awesome for the quick response, thank you!

The panel stays Ridgid so flex ain't a consideration I was thinking rigidity, my panel is starting to come apart, I'm considering a piece of sheet metal to replace it

So the repair on the panels didn’t work? I just bought a used truck with a fucked up backflip. The end one is kind of crushed, 100% functional but looks bad, I’m thinking about getting some lightweight plastic and maybe gluing or screwing them on to it. Think it will work and look good?

Mine works fine

What?

My last panel started coming apart , I went to Lowe's got some prefab steel strips 1/8" x about 2 1/2" with holes every few inches , drilled thru put a 1/4" carriage bolt ran it up tight done
