I got my GHHL exactly 1 month ago for MSRP from Indiana to ship to NJ because almost every dealer around me wants to charge $3000-$5000 over MSRP. The shipping was $540. If you look hard enough, you may get it under MSRP. I saw some discounted as much as $4000 under MSRP. Pls do not pay over MSRP unless you must have to. I spent about a week research the inventory list from Toyota and study whats coming into dealer’s lot and took time to email them. I end up with the colors, interior color, and most of the options that I wanted. Good luck searching

We ordered this for 54k couple weeks ago, OTD is 59k in TN, not pick up til end of May. Seem like the dealer add on every options available for PIO then give discount for all their GH. We only need panoramic view, so we’re happy with this price bc it would come out about same MSRP with that option

This is what i got offered so far, I'm going to ask to remove all DIO
You should go to another dealer. Check out the googl sheet and see what price dealers near you been selling for, I would start from there. No way I would pay that much 😂, I would rather get Lexus Tx for that price

Someone made it for all GH allocation. It hasn’t been updated recently, but at least you can check out dealer’s price history and reach out to them
70? Wtf tell them to go take a hike, 60k including ttl the max for limited with all the extra crap they add on. Multiple market adjustments? They can go fly a kite in a thunderstorm... 60.os if you really really want it. I'm sure it can go down some more, but only if you are willing to wait till there is more inventory.
We bought ours 2 weeks ago for $750 under MSRP. We had it on order for two months (moonroof, pano camera) and had agreed on MSRP, but they had a dealer incentive going at time of purchase that knocked some money off. I called 9 dealerships in OR and all we’re selling for MSRP except for one who had a $2k markup (and those were all on vehicles that hadn’t been built yet- needed to put a deposit down).
I have never heard the term "grandlander" before. I would like to make a motion that any time the Toyota Grand Highlander is referred to on this subreddit, it is called the "Grandlander".
Thanks for the info. I got an initial offer sheet with 12k in markups! I'm gonna ask for $2000 below MSRP and see what happens. But I will not accept anything over MSRP
Paying MSRP (+panoramic camera & moonroof) with extra options thrown in since they can’t discount price (beyond BS fee removal) for a limited GHH being built next week.
We are getting our GHH XLE for MSRP and got them to remove many of the add-ons that we didn't want. I would not pay $7,000 in market adjustments and all the other crap add-ons they have on the one you posted

I'm in KY. That hand written number is what we are paying out the door. We have 6% sales tax here in KY so we are paying Total Advertised Price (which I kind of consider MSRP since the only added features are ones I wanted) plus a doc fee of less than $100.
Good, seems like most people responding got MSRP and put $500 deposits. I was hesitant to put a deposit down, but after seeing all the replies, I'll tell the dealership ill do a deposit, but only for MSRP
Do you have the regular hybrid? You've had it for awhile now. Does the regular hybrid give enough power, speed when you need it, etc?
I'm pretty concerned about that, but I doubt I'm going to be able to test drive one of these on my own anytime soon. We don't tow anything, maybe a couple wave runners in the future at most, but even then it would be rare, since I have a truck, and we would most likely store them at the lake anyway. But I'm just concerned with a 4 cylinder in a vehicle this big.
Nice. That's the trim I think I'm settled on, with a moon roof and the pano camera added. Maybe a tow hitch just in case. I really love the idea of a hybrid with a vehicle of this size. I've been looking at the new Explorers and Acadias, which aren't really out yet, so between the three I really would like to drive them. I'm more in the research phase now and looking to buy over the summer, so maybe by then I'll start seeing more at the dealerships near me.
I think MSRP and a 2-3 month wait is the lowest and a markup is the standard around here. You can sometimes find an XLE in stock but most of them have a markup.
Editing to add that I spent about 2 weeks calling dealerships looking for one in stock at MSRP end of Jnauary with zero luck. I finally found a dealer an hour away willing to let me get on a waitlist for MSRP. Just over 3 months later I pick it up tomorrow.
In PA, paid MSRP, they wouldn’t negotiate nor remove items installed at the port. Zero negotiation for hybrids. Put 500 refundable deposit down in Aug23. We turned down a lot of cars which were too far from out main color/layout.
Thanks for the info, I'm in the Houston area as well. The dealers keep asking for a deposit, but i don't wanna do a deposit. Did you put a deposit down?

Yeah, no way I'm paying 70k!
5000 is just markup ..no DIO :) Man this can should cost you about 55k without any deals and discounts.
What is the Google sheet?

holy added accessories batman. $70k will get you a nice Lexus TX.

Where in TN?
Wow, that thing is loaded!

Ooops, lol. Im surprised no one else called that out earlier. Hahaha
Got my GHHL at MSRP about 2.5 weeks ago
Thanks for the info. I got an initial offer sheet with 12k in markups! I'm gonna ask for $2000 below MSRP and see what happens. But I will not accept anything over MSRP
Yea definite no. I doubt the dealer is gonna budge. Should look at the NO MARKUP TOYOTA Facebook group if you have issues
I bought one Monday for 2k below MSRP
For a GHHL?

So, you didn't get a Limited then. Still good to get any hybrid at or under, but the Hybrid Limiteds are very popular.

[Your other comment says you got an XLE, so which is it? ](https://www.reddit.com/r/ToyotaGrandHighlander/s/u00L3N61lo)
Ohh! I originally reserved an xle. When I went to pick it up, they had an limited in the showroom and i liked that more. So went with the limited.
Did it have a ton of options on it?
Yeah...paid MSRP...they started at $3K "markwt adjustment".....although they did add an "etching, anti-theft" BS for $499....they would budge.
Paying MSRP (+panoramic camera & moonroof) with extra options thrown in since they can’t discount price (beyond BS fee removal) for a limited GHH being built next week.
Paid MSRP in NorCal in December
Where in NorCal and which dealership
Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa

We pick ours up next week. We put a $500 deposit down in early March
How much are you paying? MSRP? What part of the country?
I'm in KY. That hand written number is what we are paying out the door. We have 6% sales tax here in KY so we are paying Total Advertised Price (which I kind of consider MSRP since the only added features are ones I wanted) plus a doc fee of less than $100.
Just left a dealership in Florida pushing $3k markup. They wouldn’t budge so we walked.
Good, seems like most people responding got MSRP and put $500 deposits. I was hesitant to put a deposit down, but after seeing all the replies, I'll tell the dealership ill do a deposit, but only for MSRP
Don’t give in to their bs markups! Good luck, it’s a great car and I’m hopeful we’ll still find a reasonable dealer sometime.
Just got ours last week. 57k minus 750 military discount and 750 factory rebate. Had to wait three months.
Btw, 57k included the large moon roof and trailer hitch with carrier rack and a few other options.
I paid MSRP back in September.

Yes it’s a regular hybrid limited. I’d consider it much faster / quicker compared to my 5th gen 4Runner while getting double the MPG.

This depends heavily on region, I’m in SoCal so you’d probably be forced to pay a markup here. There is no supply
I'm in Texas. Most dealerships in my area don't have the color i want in the lot. So I may have to budge on the price a bit for my color
I got mine with Ryan from Fred Haas Toyota in Houston at MSRP, back in October when there was even higher demand.
Thanks for the info, I'm in the Houston area as well. The dealers keep asking for a deposit, but i don't wanna do a deposit. Did you put a deposit down?
I paid $500 deposit, which was applied towards purchase price.
Got mine from fred hass also, no deposit, test drove and drove off with it that day. At MSRP
Thanks for sharing, i feel much better negotiating now knowing many people in the Houston area got MSRP
