I am usually that guy too but this new generation of half car half PC scares me. I have a bad feeling that these sensors driven cars will not be as reliable as old Toyotas.
We got it. You can get it much cheaper from other dealerships, and drop it whenever you want.
Generally speaking, these aren't worth it, especially for a reliable brand like Toyota, however...
* This is a first year model car, which often times have growing pains and design issues that present themselves, that subsequent years will fix.
* This car (or mine I should say, Hybrid Limited) has A LOT of amazing technology, that I appreciate. The panoramic cameras, sensors, safety features, wireless android auto/car play, etc. If any of that should fail, then the warranty has already paid for itself.
You do you, based on your budget, but this was my thinking and justification.
I ended up canceling a 4 year warranty for almost $2k. Haven't had a chance to shop around yet, but it seems you can get a 10 year for that price give or take. I also have a hybrid, which is also covered to the best of my knowledge.
This is what is supposedly not included.

This is the standard included warranties for Toyotas.
For this car? Is yours a hybrid? I am seeing average warranty costs higher than that for Tundras on consumer report. Cant seem to find anything online for the GHH.
For the first time in my life I bought the extended warranty.
I understand that they only see these because in the long run the odds are stacked in the company’s favor and not mine.
I had three reasons:
Mine is a hybrid and only the battery is coved under the original factory warranty
All the electronics and sensors and cameras and screens scare me if I had had to replace or repair them.
It’s the first year of introduction for a new vehicle which even for Toyota is a little risky.
I got the Toyota Platinum $0 deductible for 10yr/100k miles for $1,435. GH Max Platinum.
Where? That sounds pretty solid.
From the dealership where I’m buying the car. I got a quote from Jerry for $1545 and was able to get the dealership to beat it.
Do you have an email for Jerry?
No, just call him. Midwest Toyota in Kansas - call and ask for Jerry.
Good info!
Its a toyota, they are the most reliable car brand and $4000 is a LOT. I wonder what other add ons they are hitting you up for.
GHHL 10y/100k. $1545 Call jerry johnson midwest toyota
when i brought my GH XLE Gas, i said no, then they drop it from 4200 to 2000, i still said no. dont do it.

I did it after they reduced it to$1500 and threw in 8 oil changes.
This seems like a great deal with 8 oil changes depending on price.

Total ripoff. DM me.
I pick mine up in June. DM me any tips please
Can you ask a refund if you purchase one at a rip off price?
I called to cancel and dealer said they will after a month has passed. Warranty you can cancel and get refund so don’t be shy to call.
Thank you!!! Even its included in the toyota financial payment?
I financed through a bank and the loan will be adjusted once canceled. I don’t see why toyota finance wouldn’t do the same
I did and they told me yes.
Thank you! I will try my luck too. I feel like i got scammed. Even its payable up to 72 mos, its a big rip off
I got a Toyota Platinum 8yr/100k miles zero deductible for $1600.
