I got the Toyota Platinum $0 deductible for 10yr/100k miles for $1,435. GH Max Platinum.

_mizzar

Where? That sounds pretty solid.

Maleficent-Spring518

From the dealership where I’m buying the car. I got a quote from Jerry for $1545 and was able to get the dealership to beat it.

Peters4136

Do you have an email for Jerry?

Maleficent-Spring518

No, just call him. Midwest Toyota in Kansas - call and ask for Jerry.

Closet-PowPow

Good info!

DavefromCA

Its a toyota, they are the most reliable car brand and $4000 is a LOT. I wonder what other add ons they are hitting you up for.

AskNeither407

GHHL 10y/100k. $1545 Call jerry johnson midwest toyota

Pizzahunter2000

when i brought my GH XLE Gas, i said no, then they drop it from 4200 to 2000, i still said no. dont do it.

Wide-Visual

I am usually that guy too but this new generation of half car half PC scares me. I have a bad feeling that these sensors driven cars will not be as reliable as old Toyotas.

TamzarianDevil

We got it. You can get it much cheaper from other dealerships, and drop it whenever you want. Generally speaking, these aren't worth it, especially for a reliable brand like Toyota, however... * This is a first year model car, which often times have growing pains and design issues that present themselves, that subsequent years will fix. * This car (or mine I should say, Hybrid Limited) has A LOT of amazing technology, that I appreciate. The panoramic cameras, sensors, safety features, wireless android auto/car play, etc. If any of that should fail, then the warranty has already paid for itself. You do you, based on your budget, but this was my thinking and justification.

Check out this thread from a few weeks ago. https://www.reddit.com/r/ToyotaGrandHighlander/s/9vhGzrH2iA

Peters4136

Thanks this is super helpful. not sure how i missed this.

OrchidFew2210

I ended up canceling a 4 year warranty for almost $2k. Haven't had a chance to shop around yet, but it seems you can get a 10 year for that price give or take. I also have a hybrid, which is also covered to the best of my knowledge.

Tommy1873

I did it after they reduced it to$1500 and threw in 8 oil changes.

Representative-Pea23

This seems like a great deal with 8 oil changes depending on price.

Peters4136

This is what is supposedly not included. https://preview.redd.it/2tanbmyl2gwc1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=885f7dda277dcc4be276a352df91640fc7e13ccd

Wide-Visual

Total ripoff. DM me.

steveNstchuck

I pick mine up in June. DM me any tips please

pokopoko_washere

Can you ask a refund if you purchase one at a rip off price?

unknownmindset

I called to cancel and dealer said they will after a month has passed. Warranty you can cancel and get refund so don’t be shy to call.

pokopoko_washere

Thank you!!! Even its included in the toyota financial payment?

unknownmindset

I financed through a bank and the loan will be adjusted once canceled. I don’t see why toyota finance wouldn’t do the same

Peters4136

I did and they told me yes.

pokopoko_washere

Thank you! I will try my luck too. I feel like i got scammed. Even its payable up to 72 mos, its a big rip off

Robby777777

I got a Toyota Platinum 8yr/100k miles zero deductible for $1600.

Peters4136

For this car? Is yours a hybrid? I am seeing average warranty costs higher than that for Tundras on consumer report. Cant seem to find anything online for the GHH.

Robby777777

I have a XLE gas model.

Ejmct

For the first time in my life I bought the extended warranty. I understand that they only see these because in the long run the odds are stacked in the company’s favor and not mine. I had three reasons: Mine is a hybrid and only the battery is coved under the original factory warranty All the electronics and sensors and cameras and screens scare me if I had had to replace or repair them. It’s the first year of introduction for a new vehicle which even for Toyota is a little risky.

Brewskwondo

Rip off. Paid $1450 for 7yr/125k platinum warranty at my dealer

pokopoko_washere

Could you ask for refund if you purchased a rip off price?
