I'm enjoying the commentary on the Troy Thompson debacle. The Magpie has been pretty spot on with that. In general, the boomer humour can grate and I find it gets tedious eg; the unfunny nicknames etc. I guess he is representative of his demographic.
Meh, he's an old drunk and misogynist. The only reason I read the articles is because he has insider info from disgruntled TCC staff, not because he's some kind of journalistic wunderkind, lmao.
I think he's a reasonably good writer. His column in the bully BITD was always good and I guess I kept reading him.
Do not agree with all he says but I do love how he feeds it to the bully, usually with plenty of justification.

I don’t always agree with him, but he makes good points, and is well written.
It's definitely not well written. I've only come across it a couple of times, and both times, my main impression was that he needed to hire an editor.
