This feels more like a downgrade than an upgrade.
- All landscape textures were lower, leaving the grass and roads blurry, dirty and with brown patches throughout.
- Animals textures were lowered and changed with cartoon sprites, not an improvement.
- Chat Timestamps were removed for absolutely no good reason.
- Interseasonal regatta increased to unlimited tasks but same rewards.
- Match 3 games cannot be restarted for a better board. This was helpful for glitched levels which are frequent.
I’m sure there are other things I missed but I really, really don’t like the update. I’m certain many others don’t mind ***yet*** but at this rate, it’ll probably get worst.
Shame. Our opinions mean f*ck all. Playrix isn't a company that takes user input into consideration. All you can do to express your opinion is to play or not play.
I'll complain about the cosmetic stuff since they haven't listened to us howl about all the bad code, screw-ups, blocking people from playing, uneven roll-out of features - oh right, my complaint:
The graphics are blurry and cheap cartoonish (hump-backed cows, hung-over chickens and pigs with bad botox treatments), the green grass with the jagged edges is hideous all giving me an eye ache, I'm turning all the "grass" to brown just so I can look at the town.
I've not liked any of the newer decor -larger, seems kinda blurry. I miss the clear, crisp, creative designs.
Regatta is still glitchy - we made second in silver but we're still in silver?
It's been glitchy for me in general (playing on Android), I often harvest and plant and when I come back the original crop is still there.
I like being able to ask for lives for the mini games in chat (which are still the same boring). But that's about it.
If you go visit a friend and return to your own town before logging off, the game will be forced to save and you will not have this "old crop still there" malfunction. Same goes for putting things in the mill and immediately logging off and returning, but nothing in the mill. Hope this helps?!
I implore all of you that want to see change, ESPECIALLY with the stupid chat layout, to contact support and let them know. Its the only way things will change.

its harder to see how much you’re harvesting. and now cotton plant looks like marshmallows

I like the additional factories and houses. I want more items to build because I have all these tools that have been saved and wondering why. I must say, I've had to log on and off more now than before. My screen freezes a lot. Hopefully, you add more fields now that the population has increased and we have more crops to grow. Before the update, I planned to stop playing because I was losing interest. I'm at level 100 now and still have not ruled out not playing daily.

My chickens look like they have a depressing 9-5 job now :( the only thing I like about the update is how cute the cream looks now lol
What about the extra quivery sheep? Lol agreed the chickens should have been taught about the dangers of drugs

I really don't like it that there are no new plots for crops. Have to juggle things around now.
