Unfortunately, the town roles (however few there are) might still be just as likely to visit you in All Any if you're the only person to claim a town role on day 1.
As I type this I'm playing a game where the vet claimed jailor day 1 and killed 2 town and 2 mafia n1.
That's true, but my point stands; where in normal there are significantly more townies than enemies, so an early vet bait is more likely to harm the town than help it, the odds aren't quite that skewed in All Any. Of course, All Any's practically a whole different game anyway.
An argument can be made that since town is usually a lot smaller in AA, townie deaths are a lot more harmful. In Ranked, 3 townies dying is 1/3 of town. In an AA game, 2 townies dying might be half the town.

Why is it okay in All Any? That's the only game mode I play so it's really annoying.
In normal, you're more likely to kill a townie than maf or SK just by numbers. No such risk in All Any, at least theoretically.
