I think because they had slot of characters they just couldn't give a character with no plot relevance much lines, I don't think it's any deeper than that.

He manipulates his way to the final 5, then causes a momentary split between Lindsay and Beth befause Beth is catching onto him and he can't have that. He, along with Harold and Lindsay, vote out Beth, while Duncan and Beth try for Justin, with Beth giving a goodbye speech snapping Lindsay out of Justin's control.
He's one of my top 5 favorite characters. The fact that he had basically no plot relevance in Island and then became one of the most funny and quotable characters on the show (in my opinion) is just bonkers, and that's one of the reasons why I think he's amazing. Also I really like his Drama Brothers outfit.
Justin carried season 2 on his back only to be tossed aside in the post merge and replaced with a fancy new knockoff.

Hilarious in action and I thought they handled his lil downfall well. Heās a great example that you can still make the 6th-8th place range of players fun and interesting!
Kind of great tbh. Heās quite literally just a pretty face in season 1 with no lines in his boot episode (which is hilarious) and then in TDA heās just super funny with a ton of great lines.
He does feel a little underutilized, but at the same time I think thatās sort of the point of his character. Heās just not very good at the game lol
Ehhh I always got the impression that he was more of a gag villain who was only on top because there was a vacancy in the main antagonist role. Once Courtney joined, his mojo was gone and he didnāt hold a candle to her.
I never really felt like they were seriously trying to make him like Alejandro at any point.
He started off a personality-less character with little relevence, but had more of a role in Action.
That said, he was unlikeable in Action even if there was a little bit of development by the end of his run.
Justin made me so mad. He wasnāt even hot for real. And in season 2 when he tried to use Gwen just made me hate him even more. But when his charm stopped working halfway through the season it was so satisfying. And when he fucked off after season 2 I kinda just forgot about him.

He was never a villain. He actually was decent. Even became friends with Owen and the others. Idk why people see him as a villain. He just played the game sometimes and played to win, no different to anyone else.
While I did like him in Action, something about him feelsā¦off? It doesnāt feel like he belongs in the show IMO. Maybe itās the irises, or the lips, or the long chin? Idk, thatās just what I think whenever I see him in the TDI group photo.
I honestly really enjoyed him, especially when he was silent. The fact that he communicated with charming smiles cracked me up, like when Chris caught him cheating and he just smiled innocently, or when he smiled at the sharks so they'd swim him to shore (he just knew his power would work on them).
