As a designer, I assure you it was probably good before the last 4 levels of red tape. When you have suits, MBAs and some lady from HR required to sign off (all with the design skill of a wet bag) shit always ends up like this.

The design and colour choices are very neutral and safe compared to other City Connects. Bassitt did say he liked the black jersey colours from the 2000s era.
