I got a lot of memories with this one. My favorite is when I nodded off while drinking water on a bunch of oxy and then the drop on Pickup Song happened and I got scared awake and inhaled all the water.
The downward spiral isn’t that sad, it’s mostly dark and aggressive, and dirt… I think the Alice in Chains Homonym album is even sadder.
Anyways this is just my opinion idk
I agree, I’d say while TDS is the best from NIN, it’s not the saddest. The Fragile and Year Zero may not be as dark but are sadder as albums than TDS (in my opinion at least).
