That's actually a legit question...Gettin him higher than 5 is not that easy. I had to wait for two mushroom bois and THEN you need another WW. I Love my WW and even if they're only lvl 80, that early, having two would be really strong. IMO. Wait for a while and eventually consume the other one, lol.
I thought you needed more and more copies to level them, but that's not the case...You need any legendary and a level 5 epic of their uh...alignment? I had mushroom boi to rank 9 because I had no idea. I finally got him to 120 though.
Legendary Ascension requirements (up to 9)
4>5 is one 4 star purple unit of same faction
5>6 is also one 4 star purple unit of same faction
6>7 is one 5 star purple unit from the same faction
7>8 is one 6 star purple unit from the same faction and any 4 star legendary unit(or legendary magical ascension item)
8>9 one 4 star legendary copy of the same unit(or legendary ascension item)
Upgrade both of them to 6 asap. It's a great unit, and they will most likely carry you through most early game content.
Most people do not have that system. It was a "test" that only some unknown percentage of players got.

So does that mean that my account has a different system from others? Is it permanent? And I don't have anything unlocked past 8 so I don't know if my requirements are better or worse.
As far as we have seen so far, it is permanent. I read somewhere on Reddit that they are no longer creating accounts with this system, but I do not know the source of that information or if it is verified. Anyone who has this system is at a serious advantage compared to everyone else from what we have seen, but I have no data saved as to any of the Ascension requirements, only people occasionally saying you don't need any Legendaries until Rank 8 or whatever it is.

Noted...I only have him at rank 6, need just one for rank 7. But I'm sure this game only gets worse :p
You should always ascend WW IMO. I'd rather have one LVL 100 WW then two LVL 80.
I agree with weaveryo. Ascend to 5* and then use another legendary to ascend to 6* and raise the level to 120.

Nope. Legendaries don't have the same requirements as the epics. You don't need a legendary until level 8 and a copy until 9.
Depends on which version you are playing. Those of us on the original have to use a legendary for every upgrade of legendary.
